Good evening everyone! Just getting in from the hospital, and since I did not sleep last night, I think I will be able to tonight, I al so tired emotionally and physically, so I just wanted to pop in here and tell everyone good night, and thanks for the prayers, tomorrow is going to be a big day, some of the test results are suppose to come back. I will keep everyone posted, and I hope everyone has a great night! It's suppose to be a chilly one!

Sending extra prayers today Dawg!!! xx

Good evening my friends. Not a whole lot going on with us, we went out to Michaels and Staples after supper and picked up a few things. Lisa scored, she had been looking for different types of plastic flowers, so that she could re-do some of her arrangements.

Well, she hadn't had much luck with finding the plastic flowers in the colors that she wanted for the last few weeks while we were out looking for them. This time, she wasn't looking for them and Michaels had tons of them out and they were all marked down 40% off....She was thrilled.

Me. I was looking for some heavy duty picture wire (for that mirror that the wire broke on me earlier in the week), I found some stainless steel wire, that was strong enough to hold up to 100 pounds..

I'm sooo thrilled that tomorrow is Friday, man it's been such a long week. I'm looking forward to a nice weekend, aren't you?:-D

TGIF!!! Happy Friday xmas!!!

Brrrrrr, it's cold in the house tonight. Since we were out, I had the fireplace off, and the heat was turned down. I had to crank up the furnace just a bit to kick up the temperature in here from 64 to 68 degrees. It was like 21 degrees outside when I got home a little bit ago, and the temperature is still dropping outside. Mannnn, going to be a frosty one tomorrow morning, when I leave here at 5:15 to head to the office....

It's that first grimace, that I dread, when you plop your behind down on that cold leather seat in the vehicle! It's like sitting on an ice block....:cold:

I dread that too - and the seat heat isn't working on the drivers side in our car! BIL (mechanic) says it's too much $$$ to fix. Boooo! Hubby almost always drives the truck, which has an auto start, that turns on seat heat & steering wheel heat when it's below 35º! I think we need to switch vehicles - I don't care that the roads are bad & he has a further drive! cheesy ;-)

TGIF, my Christmas friends!

Elizabeth and Lulu are feeling better today, and Nancy didn't leave me for Harry Connick, Jr., so things are pretty good today!

It's sunny and chilly this morning, just as I like it. It's supposed to be up to 70° this weekend...nice!

We got a notice that the school is starting a sporting clays team. I hope Jacob wants to tryout! He's one of the best natural shots I've seen, and I think he'd have a good "shot" at making the team. I might have to practice with him...just to make sure he's putting the work in.

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

Good morning!
Tapatalk was giving me problems again last night so I wasn't able to check in. I hope I didn't miss anything important. Everyone is off to work & school so I'm just relaxing for a few minutes with a cup of coffee. I don't have too much planned for today, just a couple of quick errands and daily chores. I'll also be working on a menu plan & grocery list. I wish I didn't have to go anywhere, it's freezing out there and I'm still not back to feeling 100%. I have a cough that's been lingering. My mother is coming over for a visit later this afternoon so I'm looking forward to that. That's about it for me. I hope everyone is well and has a nice day.
Hugs and prayers ~

Good Morning Again, Buddy!!!! I hope you have a wonderful day!!! Take care of yourself!!!

xx

Busy week ... Missed you guys. Cold. Coffee Yabba!

We missed you too, Binger!!! I'll join you for that coffee!!!

It wasn't too cold yesterday (50's) but felt cold owing to the wind and minimal sun.
(Come on! Can't we get a warm day?)
Well, maybe Saturday. Today is supposed to be more of the same.
For now, we have commenced this day before the weekend at a chattery 22 degrees here in the capital city.

Have a Fabulous Friday, Friends!

Stay warm and have a great day, Crown!!!!!

It's Friday!

Have a wonderful weekend everybody!!

Happy Festive, Friday!!!! I hope you have a wonderful weekend as well!!!

The morning is starting off on a good foot. Today is doughnut Friday here at the office and it was my turn to buy, so I picked 2 dozen colossal doughnuts from Shoppers supermarket.

Which, if your not familiar with this chain, but they make some of the best and biggest doughnuts that I have ever heard of in my life... Dunkin Doughnuts couldn't touch them with a speck of powered sugar...

Nothing like the feel of caffeine and sugar flowing thru your system, sooo early in the morning... productivity this morning is predicted to be up! This afternoon there may be a crash forthcoming.......

Now I want donuts!!! LOL!!!! Have you have a great day, Xmastidings!!!

TGIF, my Christmas friends!

Glad to hear that Elizabeth and Lulu are feeling better!!!! It's good to hear that Nancy came home too and isn't headed to Hollywood with Harry Connick Jr!!!

Good Luck to Jacob if he decides to try out!!! I'm sure he would do great!!!! Of course he would need lots of practice with adult supervision!!!

Have a great weekend, Brad!!!!!

Good evening,

I am tired tonight, I am still up waiting for the oven to finish the self cleaning cycle. We are running it to get the heat up in the house to save a little oil. We are almost on empty, our delivery is supposed to be tomorrow. With the cold possibly down to -11 tonight we just don't want to take the chance. It has been about a year or so since we last ran it, so it is doing 2 purposes. cheesy We lost track of our oil gauge, it went so fast with the cold.

We got 4 more inches of snow this morning, it took me 40 minutes to drive to work, the roads were so bad. It usually takes 20 min to drive to work.

I hope you all had a great day.

Goodnight, everyone.

Stay safe & warm. Brrrrr!!! Hope your drive in to work was less eventful today!!!

Good morning, friends~
Happy Friday!!
Wishing you a blessed day!

Good Morning, MMC!!!! It's going to warmer here today thankfully with a high of 37!!!! Not to much going on here today. My niece's just got up. They slept from 9 last night to 9:30 this morning. I need to load them up with benadryl more often. LOL!!! So I have to get them to eat something now so we can battle over taking their meds. Then I need to run to the store to get them more kleenex since they have went through the 2 boxes I had here this week. I need to pick up a few other basic's as well but will probably do my big shopping trip tomorrow. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just a suggestion, but my outdoorsy family uses heat pads when hunting in the winter. Rectangular packs about 1/4" to 1/2" thick, you just bend in half to activate and they have a pretty long lifespan. They get quite warm extremely quickly. They make all different sizes and texture covers to fit in gloves, socks, boots, seats, heck - even hats/skull caps and blankets. They sell them in hunting and outdoor sportsmen type magazines and sites.

If you just want something to drop in the seat of the car that you could easily store under the seat without paying the price of the repair, that might be a workable option?

Bradmac,

Shut Up!! Are you serious??? A sporting clays team at a school? That's great!

I don't usually post about this because guns are a touchy subject these days and I'm not looking to upset anyone who feels strongly about it, but my son Noah, has been in sporting clays since he was 13. He competed on a whim for a fund raiser event being held by my sister in law's church for their men's outdoors group. I took him to the local range to practice the day before as he'd never done it before and he won the event. Like your son, just a natural shot.

At that event there were NSCA members who competed and asked if Noah was a member and had he competed in that. Uh no... what is that?

Sporting clays is headed by the NSCA and they organized the PSC which now airs on NBC sports. This year will be it's 2nd official year.

Noah started competing and won Florida state Sub jr (age division) in 2011, 2012, then moved up to Jrs, and won 2013. 2014 he came in 2nd behind one of his good friends by one clay. LOL In 2013 he won the Florida men's open Master's as well and was the Jr All-State. In 2014 in made the All-American team which is 15 people across the US and is an alternate for the pro-tour. He made the US Krieghoff team as well and is a pro competitor for both Mueller Choke tubes team and Krieghoff. He has a number of scholarship offers across the US from SWAT departments of police and sheriff's offices as well as the Marines. He's 18.

The kids involved in this sport are exceptional. Kind, considerate, hard working, rational, grounded and the majority are very respectful. Not only do the have a great time, terrific comradery, and support each other in a highly competitive environment, there are amazing college opportunities out there as well if that's an interest.

Too cool if your son does get involved!! :-D

Good morning mmc! getting ready to head out the door to go see my brother in the hospital and hopefully find out some info! I would be lying if I said I was not worried, even though I know it will not do any good! So I will be back here tonight hopefully with news of some sort, I think the waiting and not knowing is worse than knowing something, even if it's bad at least then you can deal with it, okay thanks for the prayers and I will talk to you all tonight! Have a great Friday!

Good morning MMC! Happy Friday!! I'm so looking forward to the weekend, with no plans!!! That's unusual ~ but it's kind of nice since I'll be getting up early, early Monday morning to take Mom to the hospital for Dads surgery. My Dad has to go even earlier (4am) but I'm going to bring mom later. My sis is taking Dad. Hopefully all goes extra well & then it will be time to hammer down & get prepared for vacation!!! :yahoo:

I had stitch & 8itch at our house last night. It got late, but I finished my tree skirt! Yay! I'll post a pic after I take one! Gracie stole the show last night - aka...stole our yarn! The little thief! She was being her normal ornery self!!!

Do you think she likes playing in the snow??

I made a new recipe for the girls last night - Skinny Buffalo Chicken Bites. They were quite tasty. It made around 30 chicken balls, so I brought 1/2 of the to work this morning & they are gone. 3 of the guys asked for the recipe! cheesy So I'll share here too:

Skinny Buffalo Chicken Bites
Yield: 10 Servings
Recipe adapted from Seeded at the Table & Food Network

Ingredients
3 cups shredded cooked chicken
1/3 cup favorite hot sauce
3 1/2 oz. fat-free cream cheese, softened
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup green onions, chopped
1/2 cup all-purpose flour (you won't use all of it)
2 eggs, lightly beaten
3 cups Corn Flakes cereal, crushed (maybe add a little seasoning salt to these)

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a large bowl, combine shredded chicken, hot sauce and cream cheese; mix well. Stir in cheddar cheese and green onions and set aside. Using 3 separate bowls, set out the flour, eggs and crushed cereal. Scoop out chicken mixture and make 1 1/2-inch balls, first rolling in flour, then dipping in egg and last coating with cereal. Repeat this until you have about 30 balls. Place balls on sheet and bake for 20 to 25 minutes, until golden. Serve with blue cheese or ranch dressing and enjoy!

Well that's cool! I'll have to check it out. I have had them for shoes & gloves, but didn't realize they make them for all that other stuff. Thanks for the tip!

Good Morning MMC !!

snowing again today, off to work at noon.
My whole family has a rare weekend off at the same time, not sure what we will do but will think of something.

Hope you all have a great day
