Sooooo, if you hit the powerball, would you still want to get up, and go to work on the next day???

I think I would still work casually, but not full-time like I do now. I love helping looks and the line of work that I do. I don't know if I ever could ever just give up my education and just not ever go to work again. It would be tempting and until I would be in that spot, who knows!

You know what I would do if I won the Power Ball, I would quit my job asap, then create my own handyman business, then go around and do odd jobs and handyman projects for the Elderly, disabled and Veterans. And when it would be time to give them their bill, I would say....No charge....

If I won, and it was enough to not have to work, I would buy a bunch of land & rescue animals [emoji173]️ And then try & find forever homes. Or let them live out their lives comfortably and with lots of love & care. I would also help out my family & friends.

I would keep busy, though, because I'm not one to sit around!

It continued warm yesterday but as promised, the rain began to fall during the afternoon and has continued overnight.

By noon it is supposed to abate, however.

We are at 37 very wet degrees here currently, and we should have a much cooler day than we did yesterday.

Good morning! Kids have a 2 hour delay this morning due it icy roads and sidewalks which means I have a 2 hr delay to work which means I have time to visit ... LOL! I swear the older the kids get the busier I get but I wouldn't trade it for the world. Not much going else going on.

Good Morning! I hope all of you with the harsh winter weather are doing okay.

Snow-in-Texas and I have a small outdoor grill and have been wanting to buy a bigger one for a year now. The size we want cost around 100 bucks and just haven't wanted to spend that yet. We sure did luck out last Saturday! We went to an estate sale and bought 2 Weber grills for 5 bucks a piece!!! We have shopped for those and the ones we just bought cost 100 bucks a piece brand new! The weather will be mild on Valentines Day and told hubby I rather cook out instead of fighting the crowds at the restaurants. Looking forward to using the grills!

great big fluffy snow flakes are slowly wafting down this morning, looks very peaceful.
Go to doc this morning about my ankle. If my friend gets work on her car done quickly, will have tea with her this morning and then work this afternoon.
Caught the mouse that was making night runs in my kitchen, hopefully that was the only one but will set out the traps again tonight just in case.

Working from home again today. Believe it or not, there's still light snow coming down. Supposed to clear up later today and tomorrow, but more snow coming late Thursday into Friday. They don't know yet how much.

Good Morning, MMC!!!! It's going to be a bit warmer today with a high in the upper 30's. That's not going to last long though. They are talking single digits on Thursday with windchills below zero all day. Brr!!!! We haven't got the snow this winter but we have got the cold air for sure!!! Not much going on here today. I need to run up to the apartment office and pay rent since I forgot my checkbook while I was out yesterday. Other than that, I think it's just going to be a lazy day. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!

Good morning MMC! Happy Tuesday! I guess we are 4 minutes from being afternoon. Been busy here at work this morning but wanted to check in & let you know that Dads surgery went well. We got home from the hospital around 1:30 yesterday afternoon - I stayed with them til about 10:00 last night & my sister spent the night. He did well. His legs have more strength already than they did pre-surgery, so hopefully things continue to go in the right direction! xx Thanks for all the thoughts & prayers. I'll be checking in on him again at lunch...and I'll make him stand up for a few minutes! (he's not going to like me much this week) cheesy



Since it's almost lunch time, I'm going to sign off & hopefully have a chance to do a little catching up this afternoon!!!

I finally went and got a haircut, got rid of the big blond afro I had going on. Not a great style for me. It was my first haircut since before Thanksgiving.



Just watching the movie Frequency now, such a good flick.

They are! Here's what humongous looks like. I got Mr. in the picture so you can get an idea of how tall the snow piles are just off our driveway.

Here's the house. You can't see the cars or the driveway to the left for the piles of snow that were plowed off the driveway. That little bump to the right of the left-hand window is an evergreen that is totally buried.
