Hey everyone! Just getting into work and I am already tired! We got some of the test results in this morning from my brother in the hospital and he has a bladder infection for one thing, and also some prostate swelling but it's not cancer which was what I was worried about, they already have him on some medications for the infections and he should be able to go home in the next few days, I am relieved to say the least...thanks for the prayers and the well wishes everyone! I hope everyone is having a good day today!

They are! Here's what humongous looks like. I got Mr. in the picture so you can get an idea of how tall the snow piles are just off our driveway.

Here's the house. You can't see the cars or the driveway to the left for the piles of snow that were plowed off the driveway. That little bump to the right of the left-hand window is an evergreen that is totally buried.

Wow!!! They are huge!

Good morning MMC! Happy Tuesday! I guess we are 4 minutes from being afternoon. Been busy here at work this morning but wanted to check in & let you know that Dads surgery went well. We got home from the hospital around 1:30 yesterday afternoon - I stayed with them til about 10:00 last night & my sister spent the night. He did well. His legs have more strength already than they did pre-surgery, so hopefully things continue to go in the right direction! xx Thanks for all the thoughts & prayers. I'll be checking in on him again at lunch...and I'll make him stand up for a few minutes! (he's not going to like me much this week) cheesy

Since it's almost lunch time, I'm going to sign off & hopefully have a chance to do a little catching up this afternoon!!!

That's great news, Dawg! Glad to hear it's not cancer. Hoping the antibiotics help and he gets to go home here in the next couple days. Continued prayers for him!

That is amazing! Now that's what I call some serious amount of snow there! My goodness if that starts melting and with that much snow, all that the melted water may have no where's to drain to.... hope your outside drains and are clear and also the nearest fire hydrants are clear as well from snow, just so the Fire Department can locate them in case of an emergency....cheesy

Good evening! I just got back from making the trip down to the mailbox tonight and no ice... Good! The salt, sun and wind, did it's thing, I can now go to work tomorrow morning.

I spent the last couple of hours connecting all the power to everything that I ran yesterday, installed new switches and receptacles, re-installed the exhaust fan and lights. Then threw the breaker...Yes, everything is working, no breakers blew and so I can say two thumbs up....

Now it's time to clean up my messes, patch the walls, and start spackling....
