We have been lacking in the snow department too. Only 5.6 inches so far this winter. I hope you can get at least one big snow before the winter is over!!!!

Thanks. We've only gotten a little over 5". I'm ready for a snow storm like New England has been getting. A couple of feet of snow would strand us up on the mountain for a week or longer. That would be great. We have no snow removal out in the country. It's considered "Godly snow; He put it down, He will get it up."

We are doing well. Ethan is doing well at college. Wife (Leann) and I are getting used to the house being quiet. Christmas was very different. First time since I was 5 we weren't in the family home.

Glad to hear Ethan is doing well & you are adjusting! I'm sure that was hard not having Christmas in your family home. Sending hugs!!!

I'm not sure she'll miss us much, but I'm pretty sure she won't want to come home. Our friend doesn't work outside of the home, so Gracie will have someone around all day! She'll love it! And 2 of their boys are living at home right now (post - college) so she will never have a dull moment!!! Plus her boyfriend Jackson will be there & Candace the cat! And she will have many acres to run & a HUGE house to run too!

I'm not sure she'll miss us much, but I'm pretty sure she won't want to come home. Our friend doesn't work outside of the home, so Gracie will have someone around all day! She'll love it! And 2 of their boys are living at home right now (post - college) so she will never have a dull moment!!! Plus her boyfriend Jackson will be there & Candace the cat! And she will have many acres to run & a HUGE house to run too!

Just getting up and starting my day, it's a sunny spring like day temps are in the 40's and we are going to get up in the mid 50's.! It's colder in the southeast than in the mts of Utah, this is nuts! But I did look at our 10 day forecast and sunday night we are getting a rain/snow mix with lows around 30! I never thought I would be happy with that, but this has been the winter without snow! Everyone in the east has all of ours!Lol. Well I better get lunch on the stove, I am making blackened chicken and rice, I have become obsessed with that lately and it is healthy. Have a great midday everyone!

I like your thinking mgramsey!!! I've been saying that for weeks myself, I sure could go for a couple of feet of snow as well. I feel like Charlie Brown at Halloween, " I got a rock"! In regards to the ice, sleet and freezing rain. I'm still sore from falling down on the ice the other day~

So far this year for us, about 5 inches total; I'm totally bummed about that! I'm starting to feel like for the remainder of the winter, any location, south of the Mason Dixon Line, snow isn't going happen this year....:-?

She has an obstructed bowel & probably a kidney infection. She continually battles the kidney infections, but the obstructed bowel is a real problem. They said she isn't strong enough for surgery if she needs it. We're in a "wait-and-see" mode right now. I'm going to the hospital this afternoon to see her.

I don't know whether to ask for healing or home-going. She's had a long, hard life and she's probably ready for rest. We don't want to give her up either. At this point, I'm just torn.

Praying for everyone else for their health, job, weather concerns, etc.

It's a tough thing with elderly loved ones and I know what you mean about how to direct your prayers. Maybe just hand it over to God and trust that whatever happens will be the right thing to happen. l pray with you and for you- take care!
