I was just reading about the Wisconsin Great Northern Railroad, up north a few hours away.

I really would love to ride that train! It has four sleeper cars, and several dining cars. There's also The Pine Cavern & Dianne Marie luxury cars.

I'm having visions of simpler, more romantic times! And of course, solving mysteries!

I was just reading about the Wisconsin Great Northern Railroad, up north a few hours away.

I really would love to ride that train! It has four sleeper cars, and several dining cars. There's also The Pine Cavern & Dianne Marie luxury cars.

[Holiday]

My chihuahua, Niles, just showed me some early Valentine's Day love. He was eating, got full, looked up at me wagging his tail and look what he left on his plate! I couldn't believe it! He's quite the artist. I wonder if he will leave the Mona Lisa on his plate next time? cheesy

Good morning!
Just a quick hello, I have work this morning. I want to get some laundry started before I leave and get dinner going in the crock pot. I'm making a new shredded BBQ chicken recipe, hope it turns out good. I also need to pack lunches and cook breakfast.
Sophia has an appointment at the vet this afternoon so I probably won't be back on here until later this evening. Rosie is scheduled to be spayed next week and I want to ask the doctor if Sophia can go at the same time. I thought it would be a good idea if they could recover together. Sophia is a little bit younger though so I'll see what the doctor has to say.
I hope everyone has a nice day!

Funny you mention that b/c my co-worker just asked me this morning if I had any shredded chicken recipes. He wants to experiment with some recipes for his sons graduation. You'll have to let me know how the shredded bbq chicken turns out! :smile:

I can't get moving today, I don't have fever, but I do have allergies really bad this last week, pollen is already falling around here too. I have this really bad compulsion to call in today, I have used personal time so far this year, but not sick time, I hate doing this, but I do think I will play hooky today..I want to take some allergy meds and go right back to bed. I was looking at webcams in the Mid atlantic ski resorts and it is cloudy with snow and temps are dropping, it makes me want to hop in a plane and rent a cabin in the woods and watch the snow fall all day, how relaxing that would be!

It would be very cool to have a sleeper on a vintage train ... I've seen so many in 1930s-'40s movies. A luxury car would be even cooler! Mystery or no mystery, it would be an interesting taste of the past!

We need an MMC train like that going to Vermont ... harmonizing "Snow, snow, snow, snow ..."
