Happily, the office has called off the work I was supposed to get today (the stuff isn't even written yet, apparently), and I get a holiday after all. But I've been told to expect a long day tomorrow. It's another good day to huddle in front of the TV with hot beverages! Mr. is working right now, going over proofreading comments over the phone to a client.

Akin to Christmasstar, we currently have 3 degrees F here, with a wind chill of -23. Way too cold for my liking! It should be about zero when I head out to work tomorrow.

I am glad you were able to get the holiday off.

How in the world did I miss a whole season of celebrity apprentice? I have been waiting for that season to air for a whole year, now I turn on the tv and the finale is on.lol USsually the season lasts from Feb to May! At least I can watch survivor season 31 starting on feb 25th! Those are the only reality shows I watch, well that and Big Brother in the summer!

We are just getting to our cabin! It's wonderful but it treacherous getting here...Uphill the whole way...we got about 17 miles per gallon! Anyway it's sleeting and raining at the same time, but it's beautiful. This has to be the best valentines gift ! Talk to you all soon!

Good evening,

We had a busy day here today, it was quite chilly when we left at 10am, still 0* didn't warm up too much more after that.
We went to the mall to go jean shopping for JP, he is just growing like a weed, 9 years old 5'1 134lbs. I am frightened what our food bills are going to be when my boys become teenagers. cheesy

Did a number of other errands while were out including going to Petco to pick up some more cookies for Turtle.

I did see that there is a sign saying Harbor Freight coming soon right next to Petco, I was thinking I could try applying there in the near future.... I know Made loves that store.

Just watching the Bruins game, they are out west in Calgary tonight game started at 9pm. Alex is with me, he is doing his feline job of sleeping while I am watching. cheesy

Good evening everyone. I survived the trip through the city and my daughter is back home safe & sound. It's been a long day and I need to get some sleep now. I'll catch up here tomorrow. We passed the Freedom Tower today, just thought I'd share this picture. I was overwhelmed by emotion. I must go back and visit the 9/11 memorial & museum now that it's open.
