Good evening and happy March,

Had an easy day hanging out at home, made some blueberry muffins for breakfast. They were quite yummy.

I have been watching the NHL trade rumors all day, waiting to see what the Bruins will do to better themselves. There was a little bit of chatter that a deal was imminent late last night, but still nothing. Being a diehard fan is tough work. cheesy

Played some Addams Family pinball, watched the snow...

Getting ready for bed, I need a good night of sleep.

Goodnight, everyone.

Now be honest, you're dreaming of a white St. Paddy's Day, weren't you? cheesy

You know it!!! Who needs a refrigerator when you can cool those green beers in a shamrock ice sculpture!!! [emoji23]

Hello folks! I have been trying to get here, all day long, but without any success, due mostly, just being busy inside the house here.

I had the bathroom project on hold while I was working night work this past week and so today, I was on a mission to get on it.... I got the vanity installed, the toilet installed, all the baseboard and trim molding installed, caulked and painted. I got 90% of the job all cleaned up and the toilet is fully functional. Tomorrow night, we will go out to Lowes and or Home Depot and pick out a new faucet for the vanity and then I can get that installed and running.

It kept me busy all day, especially all the molding and trim work, it was a lot of specialty cuts and measuring twice and cutting once sort of a thing...

Soooooo, how about this crazy weather??? I mean, we totally got nailed with an ice storm. I bet you, between the ice, sleet, snow and freezing rain, it's about an inch and a half of nastiness out there. I'll tell though, the best thing that I invested in this past fall, was that two-stage snow thrower attachment for the tractor. I fired it up, lowered the setting for the blades and man, I put-er in gear and I was throwing some ice....about a good thirty yards away....Nice~
I had to venture out and get the driveway and pad cleared in order for Zach to get home from work. I even gave it a good coating of salt as well.
He's here now, got home about 15 minutes ago.

so, ok now, I have some questions here to ask to Made, Jeff, Maureen, and others here, that know the inner workings of our security, networking and safety at MMC.

I saw that Merry and Sugar had mentioned their personal concerns about how and or why they do what they do about describing their loved ones. Now, that's fine and all, it is their choice and comfort ability levels and I'm 100% fine with that.

But, my question that I have, is for myself, how secure is what we post here, because I use my family's names and other day to day/ daily life things here about our lives and my life, because I am under the impression that our server is secure and that what we type/ post/ pictures/ albums/ friends, etc.... all are secure and private to us and the ones that we allow here to share in our lives.

Seriously, all joking aside, I am just looking to better educate myself about all that we do here and to be sure that it is safe here. And also, to share in that knowledge with all of us here as well.

Thank you very much!

This was posted today earlier forewarning about the possible ice, by issuing a Winter storm Warning....

Now, with the temperatures dropping through the night, tomorrow morning will be interesting. Hey, totally not complaing here, we still have power, internet, tv and the works, so I'll take it and be happy with it. And besides, it's a good excuse to use, to be late tomorrow morning to work.

Boy, you guys sure were chatty today, sheeezh, it took me forever and a day, to go thru all the posts...And it figured, the day where I couldn't be here, is the day, there was a lot of activity here, all day long....

That's ok! I'm here now. Usually, this time at night, for a Sunday night, I'm usually, long asleep by now. But, I'm still having a time, trying to get myself turned around again, I'm getting there, but it sure does take time. I sure don't know, how anyone that works a rotating shift, can do it; it's not easy~

Looks like we are in for a little bit of everything over the next couple of days-

Looks like fun-fun.... One thing, when you start to see that ice or rain events, you know that warmer temps are trying to push old man winter back North....

it went all the way up to -6c (21f) today, downright balmy it was!

Work was very busy, but I like it that way, goes by much faster. Came home with my foot so badly swollen I could hardly walk and it was so sore. Took some pain killers , put up my foot on ice and now 3 hours later am finally feeling better. I hope this does not happen tomorrow when I go back to my first full shift.

Now I am going to relax and watch a movie with LittleCS.

Hey there CS. I hope that the swelling of your foot, goes down and that you feel better. Ice really works wonders for aching and swollen joints and body parts....

Except for the kind of swelling that eating too many cookies cause...LOL~

Good evening, friends~

It's been a productive day! Got a few loads of laundry done, the car washed, and dusted the house.

Now, I'm going to start dinner.

Thinking of you all!

Enjoy your Sunday night!

Hey there you go! Sort of makes you feel good, when you sit back at the end of the day, and look back at all you got done, and you think to yourself, not a bad day! I hope you were able to relax and enjoy some you time tonight....

Rest In Peace, Leonard Nimoy, aka Mr. Spock.

You provided entertainment, diversion, and more importantly, hope for the future, to a legion of Star Trek fans, myself among them, for almost 50 years. Thank you!

Bless your heart, and Live Long & Prosper.

Amen my brother! I couldn't of had said it any better myself. From one trekkie to another, it's a sad, sad day for all of Star Trek fans~

It's a winter wonderland out there. I got a shot of my plastic side table so you can see how much we've got so far and it's still coming down pretty hard.

The toughest thing about Elf on the Shelf is remembering to move it every night, there have been many times my wife or I have woken up in the middle of the night just to move the elf. cheesy

Hello, Kimmie!

Ryan, this is so odd ... Kimmie looks SO much like Guinness, a dog that one of my co-workers frequently brought to the office. Guinness was one of us from the time the agency was founded, and he just passed away less than a month ago.

That's so sad! I'm sure it's been hard on all of you.
