Christmas Countdown - 2015

Good evening,


The bug has struck again!!!! My wife is now down and out with this nasty virus. 3 down 1 to go, I hope it stays that way. I was the only one who caught the flu back in January, so I think this would be fair if it missed me. cheesy I am not going too hopeful though.

One more day of work before a day off, we were supposed to go out for my sister in law's birthday tomorrow night. It doesn't look too promising at the moment.

Ohhh no!! That's not good, all three of them sick and your the only one left that is not. Uggggh, looks like the deck is stacked against you there ole buddy! Hope you don't catch it and that the rest of your family gets well soon. In the mean time, looks like your going to be a very busy man in the near future taking care of everyone.......

Evening all,

Quiet, not much happening, worked late, in order to help a couple of guys get a project completed and out the door.

So, by the time I got home, it was already after 8pm and so by the time I ate dinner, washed that down with a couple of chocolate chip cookies, cleaned up my dinner plate and took a shower, it was 9:30 already. The girls are downstairs watching American Horror story (No me....:-?), I'm not into stuff like that, They love it... Ehhh, I came upstairs and thought I would come here and spend some time with you guys, instead of watching that stuff~

Sounds like you had a busy day, too!

Today was my FIL's birthday and we had a dinner for him, so that's what we spent our evening doing

Good morning, almost afternoon MMC! Happy Friday Eve!! Not much going on around here today. Sun is shining & it's cold!!!



I went to see my Dad last night. One of the patients asked if the president was in dads room ~ so many visitors! cheesy (He got a kick out of that) Tonight I'm not planning on going there ~ we have stitch & *itch at my friends house! Looking forward to that - it's been awhile! Before I go there though I need to get all my steps in & tonight is the toning night of my 30 day challenge - my legs still hurt from Tuesday night! Wish me luck! cheesy



Moms cultures are all coming back negative, so hopefully she just had a little bug! Now her phlebitis (veins) is flaring up! Ahhhh! Those 2 can't catch a break lately! I'll be stopping to check in on her at lunch!

Good afternoon! It's still snowing here and they have reported that we have reached the 6-8 inches mark and we are now on our way to the 10-12 inch levels...Yes - Score.... It looks like a winter wonderland outside...

Well, we got a good solid 12 inches of snow here... I spent about 3 hours outside on the tractor....What-a-blast!!!

Just before I went outside, looked what popped out of the woods behind my house....

I think we just need this house to be quarantined at this point. JP now has the stomach bug, poor guy is so sick tonight. My wife is complaining about her stomach, so this could be a long few days coming up. LC is back to being his regular turdburglar ways. Feeling 110% better. I (knock on wood) still am feeling normal, even though I don't act it. cheesy



Watched the Bruins game, they lost.



Back to work tomorrow early in the am.



Every thing here has frozen solidly, the snow which had a mushy crunch to it now is solid as a rock. I had to buy some more ice melter, because I nearly went butt over teakettle when I went down the stairs. cheesy

Good morning!
Rosie just had the handle of a shopping bag caught around her neck. I had to chase her around the house to get the bag off of her. Never a dull moment with these kittens.
I planned on catching up here last night but I ended up falling asleep again. I'm getting old. I was exhausted though from shoveling snow all day. My husband worked late so I was on my own.
I have another routine doctor appointment this morning. My daughter had a dermatologist appointment that was cancelled yesterday due to the weather so I have to call and reschedule that. So many doctor appointments lately. My oldest is finally feeling better, so that's good news.
Not too much else going on here today. I'll just be working on laundry and other chores around the house. I baked a lemon cake for the girls yesterday and now I'm craving a piece of cake. I think I'll bake a gluten free one for myself this afternoon.

Good morning!!!! Uggghhh, why, why did my eyes open at 4:30 this morning...Not right for a Saturday! I woke up and started thinking about work and that did it, no more sleepy-sleepy for me.....

Well, since I'm up, might as well put the coffee pot on.cheesy

Well, while I'm up, what am I going to do today.... Looks like my list is like:

• Install a back splash behind the bathroom vanity.
• Install a faucet and hook up all the plumbing to it.
• Install towel bars, TP holder and mirror.
• Install the curtain rod brackets, rod and curtains.
• Meet a contractor at the house here to get a quote on some tile work.
• Sand and spackle some spots in the basement walls.
• Put a new bedroom door handle/ lock on my daughters bedroom.
• Clean up some more snow in the driveway for more parking.

Not sure about the afternoon activities yet!!!! :lol:
