Christmas Countdown - 2015

Good Sunday morning, my Christmas friends!

I did my mayoral duties yesterday morning, riding in the parade. It was a lot of fun! I tossed out 700 pieces of bubble gum to the kids lining the streets, while smiling & waving to all those potential adult voters!

The Chevy dealership gave me an awesome pickup truck to drive. This thing was $50,000 and loaded to the gills. I had to hurry up and take it back after the parade so I didn't catch new truck fever!

The weather was wet, and I think it hurt the attendance at the festival yesterday. Today is supposed to be warm and mostly sunny, so hopefully they can make up for yesterday's losses.

Great service this morning at church. Looking forward to Easter weekend when we will be having our Stratford Festival of Praise. This is put together by 6 churches in town and we will all meet together for a service on Good Friday.

It is a fairly nice day here, at least it is above 0 ! Work tried to call me this morning but I declined. Sometimes you just have to stay home and relax.

Now to keep warm I am watching an old episode of Ice Road Truckers on netflix.

Happy Saturday Night..... But, it's a nasty night, to be out on the road. The Fog outside is as thick as peanut butter~ 46 degrees and has rained all day. or it was a misty/ drizzle thing going on, feel like I live in Seattle at the present moment.

Busy day, spent all afternoon with my grandfather till supper time, came home, and did a few things here and then turn back around and drive back down to Baltimore to pick up my daughter. Home now, and, driving home was a bugger, due to the fog. At one point, I was down to 5 miles per hour, because I could not see the road at all.. I was driving blindly. We made it home safely, and that's it for me tonight, I'm done. It's PJ's, a little TV and then off to bed in a bit....

Good evening MMC... Had a very day out with the family even through it was rainy/foggy all day. We took the kids to a train expo. Our son LOVES trains so he a blast there. Afterwards we went to dinner and did some shopping. While shopping I got a few more gift ideas for the kids for Christmas. Christmas is still over 9 months away and we have half of the kids Christmas gift list figured out!
Kids were picked for the softball/baseball teams today. Got to take them up to club house this week so they can get fitted for their uniforms and pick out their numbers. Now starts the fun of trying to come up with decent quick dinners for the kids due to practices. Plan is avoid take out.

Well have a great night!

I hope you were able to get some good sleep after the race. I have a tough time when the Bruins are on the west coast and the games begin at 10-1030pm.
