Christmas Countdown - 2015

Good evening,



It was a long day at work today. My coworker's father passed away this morning, she knew it was coming, and he is in a better place now, he was really suffering the last few days. I am going in for 6am the next few days to help cover for her shifts.



Very windy, cold day here today, the wind was biting and making some haunting noises throughout the day.





I was off by one number on those Hump day jammies, awwww phooey.

Good morning. I got about 2-1/2 hours of sleep so far. Mostly because I'm trying to sleep on the couch downstairs and I'm not in the comfort of my own bed. I had concerns that I would be up until late, making trips in and out of the bed, so I told the wife I would sleep downstairs so that at least one of us would get a good nights rest.

I'm going to try to see if I can get a couple of more hours before we have to leave this morning.

Good morning!
I have work today, I need to get moving as soon as I finish my cup of coffee. Feeling sleepy, the kittens woke me up around 3:30 and I couldn't fall back asleep. My boss asked me if I would be interested in working through the summer. They are open twelve months since they are a day care center as well as a preschool. I'm not sure what I want to do. I'm still thinking about it but I have to decide soon and let her know. Not too much going on this afternoon, I'll just be catching up with my daily chores. Still working on my Easter menu too. Good Morning MMC !!

it is the last official day of winter, it is -14c (6f) windchill, heavy frost.

Hoping tomorrow it will be warmer, but we still have so much snow to get rid of. But it is spring tomorrow, so warmer temps are not far behind!!!

Good Morning, Weekend Eve Awaiters.
And we won't have to wait long because it's tomorrow!

But on with the count and an update on approaching Milestone number five.

Days to the Season: 239
Days to Christmas Day: 281

One week from today -- the 1/4 marker to Christmas Day 2015.
(Just think -- a week from today and one quarter of the journey is complete!)


Noticeably cooler yesterday but still dry.
Almost refreshing after Tuesday's 80+ readings.
Today will continue cool with some rain possible late, and it has started off at 49 degrees.

Good Morning, MMC!!!!! Wow!!! 6 whole hours of sleep. I almost don't know what to do with this little bit of energy that I have this morning now. LOL!!!!! It's going to be a dreary day here with a high of 50 degree's this afternoon and some light rain moving in. It shouldn't be to bad though. Not really sure what I'm doing today. Going to work on my grocery list but will probably wait until tomorrow for the 2 days sales before actually going to the store. Other than that, who knows. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!

Good Thursday morning, my Christmas friends!

It's really raining today. It's what is commonly referred to as a "frog-strangler". Maybe it'll wash the pollen away, at least!

We have a busy afternoon. I'm taking off work at 2pm. I have to take Lulu to the vet for a follow up, then Jacob to the dentist, then Elizabeth to the orthodontist, then Jacob to guitar, then Elizabeth to dance. Whew!
