I've been thinking about CanineMom so much this week. I miss our conversations during Lent. She was always so concerned about me and my family. I know how she would be comforting me now and definitely praying and reminding me of Saints and miracles. I am positive I am not the only one who misses her. I even dreamed about her this week. She was in Heaven, but I could still talk to her as if she were still here with us. It was a very comforting dream.

I have thought often of her too and miss her here.

My thoughts now are more on you and what you are walking through right now. Know you and your family are often in my prayers ((((HUGS))))

Cooler yesterday and the promised rain arrived on schedule.
Got a bit chilly overnight and we have started off this morning at 42 damp degrees here in the capital city.

I always use a washable yarn, so there's no worries about baby spoiling it. Sometimes the baby afghan "graduates" into a security blanket, which is nice!

It's a sort of miracle that, even though she's not with us, CM3 still provides comfort and happiness to us. I hope she knows how many lives she touched in such a positive way.

Good evening,


Just a quick visit tonight, the earlier than usual shift this morning really threw me off my day. I got home and passed out for a nap.

First day of spring tomorrow and all anyone is talking about is snow, we are only suppose to get 1-2 inches. It is New England, it is possible we can get snow until May.

Besides being the first day of spring, it is also my baby's (LC) birthday. He is going to be 7 years old tomorrow. Where is the time going? I joined here when he was still only 1 year old, it just doesn't seem possible.

My Dale Doback Step Brothers ugly Christmas sweater came in today, it is even better in person. I can't wait to be rocking it during the holiday season later this year.

I must retire for the evening, my eyelids are getting very heavy.

A Winter weather advisory has been issued for Long Island on this first day of Spring. We're expecting up to 5 inches of snow. Not too much but enough to make the roads messy. I'll probably drive my youngest in to work later so I don't have to worry. Thankfully there isn't too much else going on. I finally finished up my Easter menu. Today I need to make a menu plan and grocery list for next week and work on some chores around the house.
I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!

We're supposed to be in the 70s this weekend and even the low 80s by Tuesday. Then by Thursday out high is back down to 53. It's spring time in Oklahoma..

Good Morning, MMC!!!!!! It's going to be a dreary day here with a high of 50 degree's. Thankfully the rain has already moved out already though. I'm just trying to finish a few things up around the house this morning and then I'll be of to the grocery store. Then it will be back home to relax and watch some racing coverage hopefully. Well, Hello MerryBells, it's good to hear from you! How have you been? happy first day of Spring!!! It is snowing big-time here as well. We have about 2-3 inches on the ground so far and it's really coming down. Don't you just love mother natures way of saying Ha-----Gotcha Yah!!!!
