Good Morning, almost-to-the-end-of-April Friends.



Yes, hard though it may be to believe, we are nearly to the end of the third month of 2015 already.

(I used to feel that time passes fast when you're having fun. Now it seems to just pass fast.)



Regardless, let's brace ourselves and inspect the latest numbers:

Days to the Season: 228

Days to Christmas Day: 270



And we now find ourselves under 4 weeks away now from our next Milestone, number six on the list, the 1/3 point to Christmas Day.





Chilly here yesterday after a sub-freezing start.

This morning finds us at 45 degrees but with the promise of milder weather just ahead.

we had snow for about 15 min last night, now we are having very gusty winds. Hoping all this blows over soon so we can get into spring again.

It has been a long day here, LC was sick all night again last night, wasn't much better during the day today. We had to postpone my MIL's birthday dinner. My wife already called out of work for tomorrow since he is in no shape to go to school tomorrow. That is 2 months in a row he has had this similar bug.

Back to work tomorrow, I feel I could use another day, just plain old exhausted.

Hello everyone!

It's been a long time since I posted in the thread, so I hope that everyone is doing well. :] I've been reading the posts though, so I haven't lost the track completely. ^^

I finished my work placement at the zoo a little more than a week ago and I must say I enjoyed it more than I had thought I will. I got lucky because people I worked with were very nice and it was quite sad leaving the place. I am now considering biodiversity conservation as an option for my master's degree which I hadn't have before coming to the zoo. However, I know can definitely see myself working in this area - not in zoo specifically but somewhere else in the wild taking care of animals. :]

Anyway, my cousin is coming tonight from Lithuania to visit me for a week, and after that, I will be all about writing a dissertation for my degree and going home in mid May.

I hope that everyone has some exciting plans for Easter. :] Best wishes!

It's good to see you, Victoria!!!! I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed your placement at the zoo!! It's always nice when you get along with your coworkers. Have fun with your cousin and good luck with your dissertation!!! You and your family remain in my prayers.

I totally understand how relieved you are to have Adrian home with Harlowe. I'm nervous about increasing my hours this summer but I'm hoping the girls will be able to help me out with the animals. They are all doing well, thanks for asking. I mostly worry about Molly and Maggie because they're both getting older, but they're hanging in there. The cats are all well, they're too funny. Sophia and Rosie are wild. They chase each other around the house all day. Bentley joins in too and tries to keep up with them. Bella is such a mush, she just watches them. She must think they're nuts.

Good Morning, MMC!!!!!! Well it appears that the rain is done for the day as the sun is shining brightly out there!! We should top out around 60 today and keep warming up for the next several days. Yipee!! It looks like more rain for the end of the week though. Boo!!!! Not much going on today. I have some phone calls to make and then have a few errands to run. Nothing real exciting though. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!
