Whew - the afternoon took a turn towards crazy! I stopped at Moms at lunch & she said she had talked to my BIL about the apt & since the weather was nice she told him she would just drive herself to the apt. At this time, it was sunny & nice! I go home, get Gracie for a walk & it's getting darker & darker to the west - then it's rumbling.... so I call Mom & ask if she has looked outside & of course she hasn't. It's really dark & she needs to leave in 10 minutes & I'm a 5 minute walk from home yet it's going to POUR!!!! LOL! So I got Gracie home, called my boss, picked up Mom & off to her apt we went! Talk about a beauty queen with wet & wind blown hair. cheesy But thankfully Mom didn't drive b/c there were times you couldn't see a thing...it was raining SO hard! Anyway - all is good & I'm back at work, just ready to close up for the Holiday weekend! YIPPEE!!!

If I don't make it back on here, you all have a WONDERFUL Easter!!!

I'm glad you were able to get mom and that you are both safe and sound, I do not like heavy downpours like that.

Well I'm going to finish watching the blacklist and then hopefully get some sleep. Goodnight, Everyone!!!!!!
 
Good evening, friends! Been a busy day here and I know I didn't have time to catch up, but I hopefully with tomorrow afternoon/evening.

This afternoon/evening, I picked the kids up from school and it's been non-stop fun since. We made cupcakes, DH went to Chili's and got take-out, we dyed Easter eggs, and then we watched an a movie. They're now in bed.

Tomorrow, they both have school off and DH is working, so I plan to take them out and enjoy the day. Depending on the morning and they sleep tonight, we may go to an egg hunt in the morning, but then we're going to go see the Easter bunny, go for lunch, and then go see the new Cinderella and Frozen movie. It will be a fun day!

Hope you've all had a fun day! I'm off to spend the rest of the evening with DH. We're going to relax in he hot tub. Nite friends!

Anyone have special plans for the Easter weekend? Most of ours are for the weekend after because my sister and hubby will be here for 2 weeks (She is a guest lecturer at the University of Western Ontario in London)

It has actually been nice and getting warm here yesterday and will be again today. It was 17c (62f) and will be today too. So nice to have spring settling in.

My old van gets towed away this afternoon to the auto wreckers. Should have the new one in about 2 weeks. Taking longer than we thought, but so looking forward to getting it. I am using my nephews Mazda pickup for now.

That is nice that your store is closed tomorrow, our town's schools aren't even closed tomorrow. I think ours are the only ones around that are open on Good Friday.
 
Good evening everyone.. I've been busy today trying to get ready for Easter. I got some shopping done and started to clean the house but I have more to do tomorrow. My middle daughter fell going down the stairs at her boyfriends house and twisted her ankle so I may end up in the doctors office tomorrow morning. We'll see how it feels when she wakes up. She took Motrin and wrapped it for now. I tell you it's always something. Anyway, I was just thinking of you all and wanted to pop in quick. I hope everyone had a nice day. Good Morning, MMC!!! It's going to be a warm day with a high near 70 degrees!!! Unfortunately, it's going to be raining too. At least we are going to be in a dry slot for awhile so I can get out there and get a few things done before it starts back up again. My main goal for today is to make my family decide what in the world we are doing for Easter if anything. My niece's have to go to my BIL on Sunday so we had talked about doing our dinner Saturday but it's just been a fight. So we may just not do anything. Who knows. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!

I need to learn how to be a professional cameraman so I can go work for them!!! They have to need a ton of them to shoot 15 Christmas movies in a year plus all of their other movies!!! LOL!!!
