Happy Good Friday, MMC!!!! It's going to be a wet one here with temps falling from the 55 that we currently stand at. I need to make my macaroni salad and dreamsicle dessert today. Other than that, not to much going on. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!

The weatherman says it will be below freezing for Easter sunrise.
Springtime, where are you? The snow is melting, but the trees are still bare and the grass is all brown.

I'd like to know that, too! Brrr!

Good Morning and Happy Good Friday! Enjoying the first of my 4 day weekend with coffee before the running around starts. Taking the kids out later shopping for clothes and baseball gear. I really don't thinks it's fair how quickly kids outgrow their clothes LOL. Later today will be taking my mom to the grocery store as well.



Got my vanilla beans in the mail so I will be starting another batch of vanilla extract tonight.

Good morning, everyone!

I hope you're all enjoying the day off! Happy Good Friday to those who celebrate! It appears that we have quite the miracle in Cornwall today. We are currently at 8c/46f and should reach a high of 13c/55f. A beautiful day is ahead of us! Oh, yes, I am in Cornwall for the weekend. It should be a fun and delicious weekend!

It should be a quiet weekend tonight. Kim and I are staying with her mom, as always. We're going to visit Kim's dad tonight. We will go see her grandparents tomorrow, which is always fun. They're moving to a new home today - for the first time in about 80 years for her grandmother. They need to downsize due to the fact that they are becoming fairly immobile and can no longer use stairs. Even with the drastic change, I am sure that they will be in good spirits!

To top off the weekend, Kim's birthday is on Monday... and she knows that I may not have yet bought her a birthday present... Uh oh! I'll have to sneak out sometime tomorrow for that, I guess!

Well, I think I should have some breakfast soon. I'd like to use this beautiful day and go for a run. I hope everyone has a wonderful Friday!!

Good morning!
Still waiting for my daughter to wake up, hoping her ankle feels better. There's no school today so they're sleeping in. She took quite a spill last night. Her boyfriend lives in a high ranch and the entryway stairs are pretty steep. The home security cameras caught the whole thing, she sent me the video. She's very lucky, it could have been a lot worse. She admitted that she looked down at her cell phone for a second. I'm sure she'll never do that again!

I hope she's ok this morning. I sprained my ankle a few years ago chasing the little dog Nancy & I got when we got married (ok, more than a few years ago), and it really hurt! Hopefully, it was just a quick twist.

Good GOOD FRIDAY morning, my Christmas friends!

We had another trip to the city where Elizabeth takes ballet last night. Driving, driving driving...that's all I do anymore! Jacob is going to need a car soon for his trips to the nearby college (he's doing dual enrollment during his HS senior year), so maybe we need to get a smaller car for the daily road trips. I'll have to look into that.

We're doing Christmas on Easter at Mrs. Hilda's house Sunday evening, since she was in the hospital during Christmas. Low Country Boil!

Awww man, sleep, what is that? I got about 5 hours, last night. My eyeballs and head feels like I walked into a wall with glasses on; (from working on the computer that long each day). It's been along week, I already have about 65 hours in and I think I will have to work some this weekend, which will push me over 70 hours this week....

Happy Good Friday!!!

I was wondering what was going on this morning as I was driving into work. There I was driving in, LARGE cup of coffee in my hand, just cruising along, thinking to myself; "man, the traffic sure is nice and light today!". I was rolling at 80 mph on my way in this morning.... It wasn't until I got to work, that it dawned on me that it was Good Friday today! You get to working this much, sometime I forget what day of the week it is....

The last of my snow (in my yard) finally melted all away on March 31st. I am starting to see some Easter lilies blooming and a whole bunch more, coming up from the ground. The trees are all starting to get a reddish glow to them with their buds starting to come out. The robins are back, geese are fly overhead, heading back North...

Yup, I do think that old man winter has gone back to his nap for the next 6 month here.....

I think that eating better, can be looked at in many different ways!

Now, I look at it as pacing my calorie intake. Ok, what exactly do I mean, Well, I look at it this way, it sure does make my conscious feel a lot better knowing that I ate oatmeal and walnuts for breakfast, a healthy choice meal for lunch and so later on tonight; after dinner, I can then have that mini cheesecake with blueberries on top of it,

tonight for a snack~:-D

Here in south Georgia, Spring sprung a while back. It's early summer here; sunny and 85°. :wink:
