Good evening,

A very busy day, I am feeling pretty tired.

My Bruins failed to qualify for the playoffs tonight, being officially eliminated. It will be a long time until next season, I can't wait until October now.

We will be heading to Six Flags tomorrow to activate our season passes, and check out some rides.

I hope you all had a great day, I will have to try to get caught up tomorrow.

Goodnight, everyone.

Goodnight, friend!
Sleep well.
Have fun at Six Flags tomorrow!

Haha! I love all of their music! Wish I would've seen them when I was a teen, too.

Didn't see them until @ 5 years ago, with Aerosmith! Amazing show!

Sorry to hear the Bruins didn't make the playoffs. The Pens just made it by the skin of their teeth. Hopefully they'll play well.

Have a great time tomorrow!

Happy Sunday everyone! When I posted last time I forgot to mention about my job situation. Some of you may remember I have been waiting for some time to be moved to first shift at my job. Well some progress is being made. Another person on first shift has quit, and my supervisor has asked me to come in at 10 and when possible (which has been most of the time) I can go home at 7:00. My regular hours are still considered 12 noon-9:00 PM officially, but this is a step in the right direction. My supervisor has been talking to the warehouse manager trying to get him to make that (10:00-7:00) my official hours until I can get someone new trained for 3rd shift and then move to 9:00-6:00, which is not actually first shift, but that's the hours they want me to work, and those actually work best for me anyway. I am still waiting for them to hire someone for me to train.

Good Morning, Sunday Super Stars!

And let the starlight shine bright on today's numbers, revealing how close we are moving toward two successive Milestones.

Days to the Season: 215
Days to Christmas Day: 257

And the figures tell us that we will reach the 200-day Season Window just two weeks from tomorrow.
Subtract a day and we will be at the 1/3 Christmas Day marker, as our rapid advance through the rolling year continues.
(Hold onto your seats!)

The weather continues nice, especially for non-pine pollen sufferers.
(I hate to see the yellow-green mess, but I'm fortunately not allergic.)
Hopefully a few good rains will speed along it's departure.
We are at a crisp 53 degrees here, currently.

Have a Super Sunday and enjoy the remainder of your weekend, Friends!

Yea, between computers and middle age, I now have to use cheaters as well because I cannot see anything up close at all, it's all blurry. It has gotten to the point where I have a pair in every single room, garage, shed, etc.....

Yup middle age, I started having issues when I turned 45. I do the same thing now, I have a few pairs of reading glasses scattered around the house. And I always have a pair in my purse. I was at a doctor appointment last year and when they asked me to fill the paperwork out I couldn't see a thing. I had to borrow the receptionists glasses, lol. That will never happen again, I was so embarrassed!

I'm sorry your Bruins didn't make the playoffs. The Islanders are in, not sure how far they'll go but I'm happy we'll get to see a few more games. They lost last night in another #$@&%! shootout.

Hope you have lots of fun at Six Flags!!!

Good morning. The sun is shining, the birds are singing, the girls here are still snuggled up in their beds, the boy is at Air National Guard, has drill this morning and me, having that first "wonderful", sip of coffee. Wow, that first sip or two, is so wonderful first thing in the morning.....

It's chilly here in the house this morning, I got up and turned the fireplace on. One the weekends, I have the thermostat programmed to not come on and heat the house up till later in the morning. It got down in the upper 30's last night, but supposed to rebound back up to about 70 degrees today.

I have plans to work in the basement again today, put the second coat of waterproofing on the walls ( not that the walls are leaking water or anything) but I like to always paint the basement walls with it, to help keep moisture out and keep the humidity levels low in the basement. It eliminates that mildew like smelling basement thing. Stuffs not cheap, 130.00 for a 5 gallon bucket, but wow, does it really work good. And it gives you a little piece of mind that once you frame it up, you know that your walls are dry behind it....
