Hey gang! I don't know about y'all, but I sure am glad that tomorrow is Friday. Makes me all warm and fuzzy inside! Gonna be a cool weekend...Bambina is going to a birthday party that is like a petting zoo. Sounds like fun.



Hope everyone is staying dry. Been raining here all week. More of the same tomorrow and severe weather on Saturday. Yuck!

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

It's another overcast, warm, humid day here. The A/C unit in the main office is broken, so those folks are suspiciously eyeing the office trailer I work in. I've been teasing them about walking over to visit them so I can warm up, since it's so cold in the trailer LOL.

I need to ease up on the teasing, though; then boss works in the main office. :wink:

I had a pretty productive city council meeting last night, and that's always heartening.

I'm off to a nice start to the end of my day.... I got to leave the office earlier because I had to drive into Baltimore City to attend a project review meeting with the city's Chief Fire Marshall. Then got out of the meeting earlier than expected, then cruised right on home with like hardly no traffic at all on the road (which is a surprise in all it's own right, because of the time of day and it's raining).

I get home, there's the blind that I had sent to California 3 weeks ago for repairs. I got that installed, got some pierogies on the stove, breaded porkchops in the broiler and then I will steam the veggies when everything else is done.... And it's not even 5pm yet!!!! YES, time for some MMC chatting.....

Wow, talk about hitting all the green lights on the way home. That sounds like the way to end a day of work.

She seems to be a smidgen better, fingers crossed for more of that tomorrow.

Good evening everyone. I pulled a muscle in my lower back at the preschool today. I love those babies but they're killing me. I'm always walking around with one of them on my hip and I finally hurt myself. I never had all of these aches and pains when my girls were little. I'm getting old. I think I'm going to grab the heating pad and turn in. Hopefully it will feel better in the morning. Hope everyone is well and had a nice day. I'll see you in the morning. Goodnight!

I'm always walking around with one of them on my hip and I finally hurt myself. I never had all of these aches and pains when my girls were little. I'm getting old. LOL!!! I would if I got it first! Anything for my buddies! =]

You can download it online when it's available, But I usually like to pick up a hard copy in the store so I can fill out my wish list & turn it in. I learned my lesson about local stores not having enough of one ornament a few different times. But if you fill out your wish list and turn it in, they'll set them aside for you when they come into the store!

I quit being a paid member a few years back, because the ornaments I really wanted typically were available to everyone. So it didn't make much sense to me personally.

I missed out on the Gizmo from Gremlins ornament a few years ago, I looked to buy it on eBay but they are selling for $40 now.
