I got a spray tan for the 1st time before we went to Mexico! Pretty cool!! It did turn my skin kind of a funny orange color when it started to wear off, but hopefully by then Elizabeth will have a nice natural tan! cheesy

Good morning!! HAPPY FRIDAY!!! I'm trying to catch up, but you all have been chatty...
Well, we picked up our patio furniture last night & I think we will really like it!! Seems very sturdy! Mom rode along with us - just to get out of the house! Was a good trip! Jim got the table put together last night, but the chairs will have to be a weekend project. I also made it to stitch & 8itch, but we didn't do any stitching. :lol:
This afternoon I'm going to take a walk with some neighbor ladies & then we are having Funday Friday on our patio...did I mention it is absolutely GORGEOUS outside today?? Oh, how I love it! cheesy It's hard to be inside at work! Only2 1/2 more hours...

Mom lives about 1 1/2 miles from us - she actually lives right next door to my brother/sil. As we were leaving to get our patio furniture I thought maybe she would like to ride along, so I called her & she said she would turn off her tv & she was ready to hit the road! :smile: I knew she didn't leave the house much yesterday, so figured she might like to get out!
That's very nice that your Grandfather can move in with you! I'm sure it will be a big change for everyone! Does he live alone now? I hope everyone adjusts well!
I can't believe it's almost noon already. I've been working on some laundry and I got dinner started in the crock pot, we're having chili tonight. I think I'm going to make baked potatoes and cornbread to go with it. Not too much going on here. It's so gloomy out, we're expecting showers all day. I need to head out soon and pick something up at Rite Aid. I'm going to head back home afterward and work on a menu plan and grocery list for next week. I hope my back feels better tomorrow or I might have to take someone with me when I go food shopping. We'll see. Game two tonight, Islanders vs Capitals. Can't wait! I hope everyone is well and has a great day!!!
Me too!!!! I used to watch them all the time and their specials as well. There was some great performers that guest starred on the Muppets when they were on prime time. You know, every year, we watch The Muppets Christmas carol, I love Michael Caine in that one...
