Christmas Countdown - 2015

Just wanted to say hello quick. I kind of had a yucky day, it was one thing after another. Oh well, it happens sometimes. My alarm will be going off at 5:00am so I better turn in. I head back to work tomorrow even though I'm not feeling up to it. One really good thing did happen today though, my husband was able to get his hands on two tickets for tomorrow nights hockey game. I've never been to a playoff game before so I'm really excited. Anyway, I'll pop in before I leave for work. Keeping you all in my prayers, see you in the morning.

It was a very frustrating day at work today, I didn't get everything done I wanted. Relaxing now listening to some Francis Rossi music.



We will be heading to Six Flags tomorrow, it is school vacation week here,, so were trying to keep the kids busy.





I am fighting the yawnies at this point trying to stay awake.

Well after 2:30 hours at the walk in clinic, I have bronchitis again. Ugh!!! So I got loaded up with prescriptions and sent on my merry way to walmart to get them all filled. Even more fun!!! At least they got them filled for me before they closed at 9. So now I'm going to drug myself up and crash on the couch here soon.

Don't know when I will get to check in tomorrow. I have to take mom to grandparents day at my other niece's school and it starts early since they get out earlier. Then mom has a doctor's appointment. Then we have to babysit my niece's after they get out of school while my sister meets with her lawyer. So it's going to be busy for a bit. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!

I'm all bright eyed and bushy tailed this morning. I was up before the alarm clock went off, done and out the door earlier than usual and here at the office plugging away...

Plan to just sit here and bang out this job on my desk all day and get out of here at a relative decent time this afternoon. Well, that's my plans at 6 am, but will see how the day materializes as the rest of the management and staff gets in this morning....See if I get bombarded or ambushed with some project surprise....

Well, might as well put a pot of coffee on for myself and the first few lucky ones who will get to enjoy it before another one will have to be made....

That's great that your hubby scored some play-off tickets, to tonight's game. I've never been to hockey game myself. Ahhh, maybe one day, I'll put that in the to-do bucket...

As we men age I guess we truly never leave our teen years. cheesy

Ahhh well, you know what they say, boys will be boys....Ya gotta have fun! But as we age, our toys, become much more expensive...:!!

I am not a fan of t-storms, they scare the heck out of me. Growing up I was in a house that was struck by lightning, hasn't been the same for me since. I have to act like they don't bother me for the kids, they are frightened by them ever since the tornado back in 2011.

That really stinks, I hope it didn't catch fire...

Twice, when I was growing up, (living with my grandparents on their little farmette), the trees and telephone pole just outside their house was stuck by lightening. I remember the first time, the pole outside was hit and it shot thru the TV, my grandmother and I were watching (one of those big tube sets that looked like a piece of furniture), it came out about 4-5 feet from the TV. I about had an accident in my britches. The TV was smoking, my grandmother sent me over across the driveway, to get my uncle and he made sure there was no fire. The second time, it hit a tree outside, shot thru the ground, got into the phone lines and it blew a telephone jack, from one side of the house to the complete opposite side in the kitchen. About scared the bejebbies out of me...

Thanks xmas! My BIL was at the game on Sunday when Tavares scored 15 seconds in to the overtime, he said it was insane. I'm so excited.
