Had yesterday off from work. Although the office was closed because of the Boston Marathon, my department was supposed to come in work on a pitch that is due early this morning. (We've worked or been on call every single holiday this year so far.) But because of Mr.'s medical scare, I wanted to be available in case he had to go see a doctor, so they called in a temp to cover for yesterday, so I spent the day at home. Mr. is still doing well this morning.

Fingers crossed for a (much) better week than the last one ...

I hope everything keeps going good for y'all! cheesy

[Holiday]

Good evening, friends! Getting caught up on posts - I'm on yesterday's now, so I'm getting there! Please know that I'm thinking of all of you and praying for you all as well!

EA got fitted for cast today. She chose purple, her favorite color. [emoji4] She will hopefully only have it on for four weeks. She broke it at her elbow, where the growth plate is. She's being a total trooper though!

We're currently experiencing some pretty bad weather here - severe thunderstorms, hail, and pouring rain. We've been under a tornado watch since this afternoon and will be until tonight around 10. The weather is really starting to get nasty now.

Hope you all have had a great day! I'll hopefully get caught up tomorrow! Going to try and catch a nap here (we'll see!) Ttyt! Nite!

Good Evening dear friends! We're having a quiet evening tonight, just the wife and I sitting here watching Love it or List it. Nothing ever materialized out of that tornado watch, (which is a good thing), it is set to expire at 10 pm, but I don't see anything near us on the radar.

We are also starting to finalize our vacation plans again for this year. We've decided to go back to Florida to do a Disney/ Universal Studios/ and more vacation... I can't wait, I love Disney and Universal Studios, and that will mean that I get to go see the new Harry Potter section that opened up...Yes!!! I think this trip, we will be going back to Magic Kingdom, first time since 2009....

We are even thinking about possibly even take a guest or two so the kids (correction, our young adults) may have someone else to hang out with beside mom and dad 24/7....It's that phase in our lives where we want them to be happy (with us) even at their ages...Well see what happens~

Sounds like a great vacation is in the works!!!

Well after 2:30 hours at the walk in clinic, I have bronchitis again. Ugh!!! So I got loaded up with prescriptions and sent on my merry way to walmart to get them all filled. Even more fun!!! At least they got them filled for me before they closed at 9. So now I'm going to drug myself up and crash on the couch here soon.

Don't know when I will get to check in tomorrow. I have to take mom to grandparents day at my other niece's school and it starts early since they get out earlier. Then mom has a doctor's appointment. Then we have to babysit my niece's after they get out of school while my sister meets with her lawyer. So it's going to be busy for a bit. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!

Just wanted to say hello quick. I kind of had a yucky day, it was one thing after another. Oh well, it happens sometimes. My alarm will be going off at 5:00am so I better turn in. I head back to work tomorrow even though I'm not feeling up to it. One really good thing did happen today though, my husband was able to get his hands on two tickets for tomorrow nights hockey game. I've never been to a playoff game before so I'm really excited. Anyway, I'll pop in before I leave for work. Keeping you all in my prayers, see you in the morning.

It was a very frustrating day at work today, I didn't get everything done I wanted. Relaxing now listening to some Francis Rossi music.

We will be heading to Six Flags tomorrow, it is school vacation week here,, so were trying to keep the kids busy.


I am fighting the yawnies at this point trying to stay awake.

Why is it people think you need to work for them on holidays while they are most likely out enjoying the day? Last year we shut down the store 2 hours early so we could enjoy our company Christmas party, you would not believe how angry some people got.

After this, its off to run a few errands before mom's doctor's appointment and then back to pick up my niece and off to meet my sister at the lawyers office to pick up my other niece so we can babysit. sounds like a full day for you. The schools here would do the same thing with the book fairs, I know I always ended up getting something there.

well I am off, taking mom for laser surgery on her left eye, glaucoma.
then we are going to visit with my sister and her hubby in London. She is a guest lecturer at the university for 2 weeks.

It does happen, unfortunately. A bit surprised because we had high 70's for a bit. But then again, not too unusual. We had a snow storm last May, that dumped over a foot!
