Good Afternoon, MMC!!!!!! It's a beautiful day here in central Indy with a high of 64 and the sun shining!!! I just got back from taking mom for her blood work. Luckily it didn't take as long as it has the last couple of times. Now, I'm exhausted. LOL!!!!! I'm working on trying to get my body ready to start 3rd shift on Thursday. So I stayed up most of last night. Then I couldn't really sleep this morning. I'm definitely going have to get some black out curtains if I get stuck on third shift for awhile. Not much else planned for me today. I'm just going to relax and keep putting in as many applications as possible. Hopefully will get a nap in too. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Turkey legs are always good. Our state fair, The Eastern States Exposition or Big E, has the pterodactyl... umm turkey legs and they are HUGE!!! My wife didn't want to be seen with me eating the thing so I went behind the booth and there were a couple other guys eating their legs back there because wives said the same thing. The thing was delicious.

I would of been right there with you buddy...:munch:..

Today (4/27) was my wife and I's 13th wedding anniversary, she has put up with me legally binding that long and 16 years altogether. cheesy I can't believe how fast it has moved.
We celebrated this past Saturday by going out to the Mexican restaurant we had been trying to get to for a while now. The food was great.

I took JP to Scouts tonight, there just isn't enough time in the day anymore.

I browsed through the new Dream Book online tonight, I saw a bunch I wanted, including a new Gremlins ornament, and a follow-up to the Nifty Fifties ornament which is bubble lights this year. I can't wait until I can get the hard copy in my hands.

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

It was 90° Sunday afternoon, and today it's downright chilly.

Jacob's band is doing some studio recording this afternoon, so that'll be fun for him. It's his first time recording, which can be intimidating, but I bet he'll do well.

Good morning MMC! Happy Tuesday! Woke up to FROST this morning - all over! Grass! Rooftops! :cold: But thankfully the bright sun quickly made it disappear & it's shaping up to a beautimous day!

Just got a text from my hubby saying I might want to straighten up the house a little today b/c his co-worker wants to come over tonight to see our house! I made cookies last night & until I got icing on all of them, it was late & I was done, so there are a lot of dishes that need to be done! Actually, I need to unload the dishwasher & re-load - that will take care of a lot of them! So I may or may not have time to take Gracie for a walk at lunch, but I'm hoping to get that in!

Tonight I'm hoping to fire up the grill & have supper on the patio! Hopefully my hubby will be home from work in time that it will still be warm outside!

I went shopping after work yesterday & (thankfully) found a dress for my nieces wedding, which is THIS weekend! I'm such a dress shopping procrastinator! :lol: NOW she's allowed to get married! cheesy

Sounds like an awesome plan! It was COLD here last night! I got a good walk in yesterday morning with my neighbor. Last night I push mowed the lawn, but I had to wear ear muffs! :cold: I was hoping to take Gracie for a walk when I was done, but I was too cold! BUT tonight I plan on some patio time!!! cheesy

It was chilly here too but felt good to me after all of that physical labor!! LOL!!!

Well, I got the dishes unloaded & put away from the dishwasher & I loaded the dishwasher up again... still have a few dishes to wash after work. Won't take long! Then I need to sweep carpets & it's time to get outside & soak up some sun!!!
I got some marinated peppercorn pork chops out to grill tonight! :grin:

Afternoon everyone. I went to the dentist this afternoon and has the pre work down for a new crown. It's good that we are at step 3 out of 4 but stinks, big time, because I just had to lay out 1100.00 out of my pocket for this lousy tooth. I'm sour because this all stems from someone not doing the job right, the first go around.

Ugggh, think about this for a moment, Insurance paid for 1500.00, and I have laid out 1400.00 total out of my pocket... Thank goodness for insurance, but it is still a swift kick in the britches... Man, when the wife finds out when I tell her tonight, she will be hissed...

And, I still do not have my permanent crown in yet, only a temporary crown. I have to go back in three weeks to get the golden tooth (figure of speech)!!!!

Thanks, Holiday!!! I think it's actually going to get worse though. They just have unrealistic expectations of how fast you should be able to stock stuff. Maybe if everything was in dumb bins I could do a case a minute but going up and down ladders and getting down and back up off of the floor, that just isn't going to happen.
