Christmas Countdown - 2015

Good morning everyone!
I just tidied up the house, started laundry and threw dinner together in the crock pot. I'm going to have a cup of coffee and relax for a few minutes but then I have a few more things that I want to do before I leave for work. I'm so tired today. I hope the little ones all have a good day, I feel like I don't have the strength to carry them around the whole time I'm there. I don't know what happened on Tuesday, at one point half of the class were all crying at the same time. We didn't know who to comfort first. One little girl was really upset when her mother dropped her off and I think that set the other ones off. We'll see what happens today. Anyway, not too much going on for me after work. I just have to stop at the supermarket for something and maybe Rite Aid, if I feel up to it. That's about it for me. I hope everyone is well and has a nice day!

We are creeping ever closer to Weekend Eve and steadily nearer to our next Milestone, a big one that is just over the horizon.

Days to the Season: 190
Days to Christmas Day: 232

Just EIGHT days remain now until the arrival of the half-way Milestone to the Season.
(HALF way! It hardly seems possible.)


Still the nice weather.
Feels like we are on the cusp of getting too warm, but thanks to the still low humidity, it remains comfortable.
We are greeted this morning with a temperature of 62 degrees here.


You have a Thrilling Thursday Friends, while visions of Weekend Eve and Saturday dance in your heads!

Afraid not. The extraction is tomorrow, and some very expensive restoration work has to be done in the following months. The cost has me pretty upset, but the work has to be done.

Y'all must be sick of hearing so much bad news from me. :cry:

That's a pain.... I was hoping for the most economical and permanent resolution for you! Hope it goes well for you...

Nope. That's what friends are supposed to be for; an extra shoulder to lean on and to be there when you need the hug, the most!!!!

Ummm, Not good! Yea, If I lived in that belt/ alley, I would either build a house underground, or completely out of welded steel (an inch thick) -anchored 10 feet in the ground or not live there.

My heart and prayers are with you and your family! I can't imagine the fear your children may possibly have if a bad storm starts to build up in the distance....

So a tornado hit a local animal preserve, the Tiger Safari, and now those things are on the loose! One is an 800 pound cat named Samson! Yikes!

Well it turned out to be a nice night once the sun went down. So I ended up on the porch for about 3 hours enjoying the cooler temps. Now, I'm going to try and get some sleep. Hopefully I'll be more successful than I have been the last couple of nights. Goodnight Everyone!!!!!


Ryan- Hope you survived the storms unscathed and that you don't find a Tiger at your door in the morning!!!!!
