Christmas Countdown - 2015

Good morning MMC! Happy Friday Eve!



I didn't think I had much going on last night but it turned into a busy night! Got home from work & mowed the lawn, then I went to the grocery store - the carry out girl put the groceries on the back seat & I was going to move them to the floor so they didn't blow around so much in the convertible. I go to grab a bag & it has blueberry Kashi cereal in it! I didn't buy that. I check my receipt & I didn't pay for that. So I brought it back into the store & told them someone may be coming back for that. I get home, unload groceries & there are 3 Dannon Fruit on the bottom blueberry yogurts in there too! I guess whoever was in front of me likes blueberries! cheesy Then I planted a flower in my angel statue/flower pot, re-planted a house plant & took off on a short bike ride before it got dark. Our neighbor walked over & we chatted for a little while! Then I made some BBQ beef for a friend of mine who is going through a rough time & stuck that in the freezer. Next time I see her I'll give that too her & she can just throw it in her crock pot. Should be plenty for her, hubby & 5 kids! Lol! Then I made up 3 salads to use up that lettuce leftover from the wedding before it goes bad! I gave 2 of them to my friend I walked with this morning - lunch for her & her hubby today & lunch for me & the lettuce is gone! Whew! Anyway - this nicer weather & longer days gives me more energy & I love it!!!

Good Morning, MMC!!! It's going to be another hot one here in central Indy today with a high of 85 degrees. It's already 73 degrees out there. Yuck!! Not to much planned for me today. Just going to continue the job hunt and work on a grocery list. I think everyone is coming here for Mothers Day so I need to figure out what I'm going to cook. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!

LOL! Ya, we have the AC on, but it just doesn't cool upstairs very well, so I turned the attic fan on & opened the window in the bathroom upstairs - I didn't want a bedroom window open cuz I'm finally getting over a chest cold! It was warm!!!

Actually, I think we will! We have chicken dinner tickets tonight - it's a benefit for Jims cousins wife who just passed away from cancer a couple weeks ago. Our friends have tickets, as well as our back yard neighbor so we are all eating our dinners on our patio - and having a Corona with lime! Still celebrating Cinco de Mayo! cheesy

That was lengthly...

Good morning, everyone! It seems that I keep having at least an hour during most mornings where I cannot access the forums. I hope nobody else is having these issues.

It's another beautiful morning just outside Canada's Capital. The sun is shining without a cloud in the sky and temperatures are to reach the upper 20s/low 80s.... with very little wind! I like May!

Aside from the gym, last night was relatively quiet. Kim and I enjoyed watching a few of our shows - it seems that Wednesday night is the only night that has TV on that we watch - and I fell asleep a little earlier than I had anticipated. There's nothing wrong with that! Oh, and, of course, it was great to see the Montreal Canadiens go down 3-0 in their series with the Lightning scoring the game-winnning goal with only 1.1 seconds remaining. A good night, indeed!

No real plans for today. Russell will be a little more busy today than yesterday... although I did help setup for the Relay For Life whipped cream pie fundraiser during my break(s) yesterday. Oh, and I also volunteered to get four pies in my face. It was for a good cause. Personally, I was surprised that so many students wanted to go after the substitute teacher!

Well, have a great Thursday, everyone! Hopefully you are all recovered from a nice night at the 'Pines and the sun is shining as brightly on your end than it is here!
