I got to talk to them for awhile and he really is a Santa, does a lot of kids parties and really has fun with it. His wife was really into it too, they were fun to talk to.

I did the same thing last night, I was so hot, (even with the ceiling fan on), I started kicking off covers. Then, about 2 am, I was done, got up and turned the AC on... Whewww, relief! For tonight, I'm one step ahead of the game, I just turned it on again and set it to 72, see if that don't put a dent in the hot temperature upstairs...
Hope we are both cooler tonight Holiday!!!!
Hey everyone, how's your evening going so far! It was a hot one today, wasn't it, in the upper 80's, Whewww, not used to those kind of temperatures yet, started turning on the AC already and we are only in the 1st week of May..
Ok now, taking the next hour to sit down and just soak up the AC before going to bed. We went out to dinner tonight and had some crabcakes and afterwards, we then drove over and picked up Vicki at school and brought her home for the weekend. She's studying for her finals this weekend at home, and then she is down to only 4 days left of her Junior Year in College. Yup, next year, a senior already...My goodness how the time just fly's by...I'm getting old~

I got tell you this one, Why do things snowball on you....
so, I take the van to the shop and I say to them give a once over, make sure it safe and sound for a big time road trip....
So, he calls and gives me the list;
Needs a new radiator, new radiator hoses, new front and rear brakes, new plugs, coils, wires, stabilizers in the front of the van, exhaust system needs welding work and clamps, needs new spare tire, new belts, etc.... for a total of around 1500.00....Nice! So much for a quick once over, huh?
But, at least I know it will be safe and I'll have a piece of mind driving it, but wow is my wallet a lot lighter.... Why do things cost so much money?
