Oh my, I'm so stuffed. We had steak and shrimp skewers on the grill with roasted peppers, onions, mushrooms and tomatoes and a side of baked potatoes. For dessert, Ice Cream, Lemon cake, Chocolate coved strawberries, Chocolate Éclair's all topped with whipped cream....

Mothers Day was a very nice and happy day for my wife and mil, everyone enjoyed themselves and the company, food and weather was fantastic.

I just got everything all cleaned up, dishes cleaned and time to sit back and let the wife have control of the remote tonight...lol~

Oh she will... But, I can say with great confidence that she likes a good practical joke with no harm or fouls, almost as much as I do. But you should have seen them, once they got over of the first reaction to the surprise, and realized that they were secured in the jars, both her and Vicki were both taking pictures and looking them up on the internet...

Wow, that takes me back … I was nuts about the Aristocats when I was a tiny tot! I still remember their names: Duchess, Berlioz, Toulouse, and Marie!

That is so cool that you can still remember their names...It's one of our favorite Disney Movies!

Hi everyone. I am so sick! I got even worse as the day went on. I'm about to crawl in to bed. Not sure if I'll be able to sleep but I have to lay down and rest, it's been a long day. I am kind of over this preschool job. I know I'm only there a couple of days a week but I can't keep getting sick like this. My immune system is shot. I decided that I'm going to finish out the school year but I won't be going back after that. My last day will be June 9th. And I feel really good about the decision. My health is more important than being there. I'm going to take a dose of Airborne and jump in to bed. I hope everyone enjoyed their day. See you in the morning.

Goodnight, MMC!!!!!! I have to go back to the doctor's office in the morning to have the rest of the blood they didn't take last week drained out of me. That's if I don't pass out when I see that needle again. LOL!!!! So I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!

Good Morning. I never made here at all yesterday, I was busy-busy-busy yesterday, more so than usual. I cut the grass, pruned about 24 trees, edged, cleaned up debris (tile and masonry) back by the shed that the previous homeowners left and tossed that into a giant hole that I am filling up, fixed a broken outside light, cleaned up the back patio, sprayed some round-up on some weeds around the house and then I completely tore down a stone wall. Which then I was pre-occupied with catching and removing the critters that were all living in it.

I caught two baby milk snakes, about 12 inches long (which are non-venomous and eat mice and other snakes; they are in the king snake family) and then I caught this really wicked looking spider. This this was the biggest spider that I have ever caught or seen around any house that I've owned. The thing completely filled the bottom of a mason jar; from one side to the next. It was huge... Lisa about had a fit when I brought the
mason jars in the house and said " Happy Mothers Day!".

Now she's scarred to death to even trim or prune anything outside. I told her to wear gloves and poke around first, before you stick you hands in any bush. I eventually took them out back behind the shed and let them loose in the woods. I told them to go find some bugs to eat.....

Then last night we went out and had a nice Italian dinner with a cannoli for dessert; Yum....

Today, in-laws are coming up for a Mothers Day feast and other than that, I might do a few little things in the house here...

I hope everyone enjoys they're day today...

Good evening, and Happy Mother's Day to all mothers on MMC.

Busy day, sleeping in never happened today, had to get up early to start cooking.
We had a good day with family, we celebrated Mom's day with my in-laws at their place.

It was close to 90*f here today, so when we got home we turned the AC on for the first time in 2015. We usually try to wait until later in the spring but inside the house it was in the mid-80's, Yuck!!!!

I need to get some sleep, back to work early in the am.
