Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

I'm a proud dad this morning!!

Friday night, Jacob played a gig at a local bakery & eatery, just his guitar and the two girls singing, and it was super! I think they're considering putting together a smaller group with just the three of them.

Saturday night, Elizabeth's ballet recital was just beautiful! I'm not saying this just because she's my daughter, but she really stole the show. At the reception afterwards, so many people came up to tell her so. She really did shine!

Then last night, Jacob played with a group of guys at a nearby church. It was a praise & worship service, and that was spectacular, too. Especially since he'd only practiced with them for an hour two days earlier. What a great show and service!

I know I'm turning into one of those gushing parents that you can't trust to deliver the truth, but I swear my kids are AWESOME!

Yeah, They have been on vacation but I told you what insurance I had when I called to make the appointment. So it shouldn't have been a shock when you got my paperwork back and that's what I had.

We get 6-7 months of winter, and a very brief spring, summer, and fall!

Yesterday it was stormy, near 80 degrees, and 93% humidity. And then today, this craziness.

Nothing like waiting 2 weeks to get into the ortho and having them call you 2 days before your appointment to tell you they no longer take your insurance. Guess I'll add a call to the Doctor's office to see who else they recommend.

Argghhhh! Insurance is so frustrating ... you can't do without it, but sometimes it feels like it takes years off your life struggling with the Powers That Be. I hope you can find another one you like who will take the right insurance.

Thank you! It was a nice weekend at the lake. Saturday was kind of rainy, but it's all good! Our friends new "camper" is very nice. It's hard to call it a camper...you could live in that thing! Fireplace & granite countertops. Mac daddy camper! cheesy
