my dad, March 11, 1934 to May 24, 1997

this was taken in 1987, 5 months before my son was born.

I miss him so much sometimes, it is hard to believe it has been 18 years since he went home to be with the Lord.

Beautiful afternoon. I have been in the basement working for the past 5 hours or so and I decided to knock off work for the day, get cleaned up and take the wife out to dinner and the movies for a date night...

Each and every day down stairs, I have been making great strides, I'm really happy with the way things are all coming together, even at times, when I am shooting from the hip...

I'm waiting for my lovely wife to get back from dropping of our youngest at work and then we will be on our way! Here's wishing a happy Sunday to you all!!!!

Just getting back to my aunts for a few hours of sleep. They have mom a lot of meds to counteract the blood thinner and did an MRI. So they will do another scan this afternoon and as long as it doesn't show any worsening, she should be able to come home and we will just have to keep doing ct scans every couple of weeks for them to make sure it is clearing up.

I saw it was on earlier today, I got yelled at for having a Christmas movie on in May. I told her if she wasn't home, I would've been all over it. cheesy

Sundance is having a "Vacation" Marathon weekend, everyday this weekend.
 
Just realized that I never did another update on mom. The ct scan didn't show any worsening but the neurologist there wouldn't release her yet. He had an EEG done and some more bloodwork to check for other problems. He's not convinced that she is having Tia's. He thinks they may be some kind of seizure or migraine. The neurosurgeon doesn't really agree though. So it was another long day at the hospital and looks like I'll be making the hour long drive back up there in the morning again.
