Christmas Countdown - 2015

Morning, y'all! Not much sleep here last night...it rained cats and dogs. Probably the hardest rain we've had in 5 years. Sounded like a waterfall was coming off of our house.

Not much planned for today. Going to work on the upcoming child's room. Less than a month to go....

After that, I might cook some BBQ. No promises. My Mom asked me if I would and I told her MAYBE.....but she had to make some homemade ice-cream. Still no response....lol.

Y'all have a good day. I'm going to read the rest of the boards and listen to some Christmas music.

A busy day here getting the yard ready for the cookout tomorrow. What was supposed to be a small cookout, is now up to 16 people, with the possibility of 4 more coming. We might not have enough food!!!! If it comes to it, we will run down to the grocery store for more burgers and whatever else we may need.

The yard is looking beautiful, mowed again, and did the trimming. I hate summer yard work, but it looks gooo-oood.

Just getting back to my aunts for a few hours of sleep. They have mom a lot of meds to counteract the blood thinner and did an MRI. So they will do another scan this afternoon and as long as it doesn't show any worsening, she should be able to come home and we will just have to keep doing ct scans every couple of weeks for them to make sure it is clearing up.

Well it sounds like the neurosurgeon has won out and they are going to go with another mini stroke on the left side of her brain plus the brain bleed on the right side of the brain. They are going to release her today but she has to be monitored closely and any sign of worsening has to come back. Then will do another scan in 4 weeks to make sure the blood is absorbing back into the brain. If not, then they may have to go in and drain it.
