Oh yeah! Maybe this has already been mentioned so sorry if it's a repeat but I haven't been on much. I just bought the Roku3 so I can watch Netflix on TV and lots of other free channels on there. I discovered they have an exclusive 24/7 Roku channel called, Toontime Christmas, that has over 25,000 Christmas shows!!! It's free or you can pay an additional 99 cents per month for the ad free version, which I did purchase. I love it! Lots of old Christmas shows, some I have seen, some I own on VHS but LOTS I have never heard of! Of course I just got started on it and no way have I seen all 25,000! That should keep us busy awhile! cheesy

I got a Roku Streaming Stick for Christmas, and I love it! I haven't seen the Christmas channel, though. I'll have to investigate. Thanks!

Good Saturday afternoon, my Christmas friends!

I've been at Jim's shop, looking over the Camaro. He found a hood that had been modified with a scoop that would provide clearance for our larger engine. It looked so cool! But, there was an irregularity in it. There's no need in doing all this work, and then dropping the ball on the biggest body part.

So, I've been online again, looking for a scoop for our hood. I'll find one!

Jacob's band is playing a gig tomorrow afternoon in the theater, so it should be fun.

I got a Roku Streaming Stick for Christmas, and I love it! I haven't seen the Christmas channel, though. I'll have to investigate. Thanks!

I am new to Roku but I signed in on my online account from my computer, found it and added it from there. I am sure there is a way to add it straight from the Roku itself? Still learning my way around on it!

Well I may have spoken to soon this morning about mom. She started complaining shortly afterwards that her face was going numb. Then a little later her mouth started showing signs of drooping. It's not real bad yet but it's there. So we have migrated out to my aunt's house just down the street from the hospital. If she keeps getting worse, we will be headed there later tonight. I don't think it's the bleed getting worse but more of another stroke starting because of her being off the blood thinners. We shall see I guess.

Hello, Cricket! :hi: Don't believe we have met. Welcome to the Countdown!!! You have probably been posting awhile and I have missed it since I have been absent awhile.

Not sure if you own Roku3 yet but I have seen it for 79 bucks at Walmart, usually around 99 bucks everywhere else. I am sure you can get the same channel on the Roku stick, which cost less, around 49 bucks. The Christmas channel I found I had to add to it, was not on the default list. I keep discovering new channels to add and I am sure as Christmas nears there will be more to choose from! I'm hooked!

I think this forum is just what I needed... been fighting a bit of a battle with depression and the blues, so reading the positive and festive posts here are really helping lift me out of a dark place.

I have a Roku already, I honestly haven't learned much about it as I seem to use it primarily for Hulu+ and Netflix. But I added the Christmas channel to it, so I'll be checking that out. I'm glad you posted about it, I would have never known on my own. lol

Thank you all so much! I'm doing much better this week. I had a nice time out today too. We had a new antique mall that has opened up recently with a lot of very nice things, instead of the usual junk you often find. We had a wonderful time browsing the shops. Didn't buy anything this time, but we've been talking about going back and taking a second look at one or two items. It was really nice just getting out and feeling happy again.
