Christmas Countdown - 2015

Good morning everyone!
Today is my Daddy's 75th birthday! We celebrated over the weekend with the entire family but my husband and I are going to take my parents out to dinner this evening, 75 is a special birthday. I really wish time would slow down, even just a little!
Otherwise it will be a typical day of errands and chores for me. My daughter also has a routine doctor appointment later, so I'll be in and out today. I'll pop back in when I can. Hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!

Good evening,

We finally went and saw The Avengers: Age of Ultron today. It was a very good movie, lots of action and comedy.

Back to work tomorrow, it is going to be a chilly day here, rainy and in the 50's. I have my long sleeves ready. cheesy

It is time to turn in for the evening. The yawns are winning.

And indeed, we are but single digits away from the next way station on our long journey.

Days to Christmas Day: 207

And not only are we down to single digits to the 200-Day Christmas Day marker, it is exactly ONE WEEK from today.
Yes, Folks. After one solitary week from today, our count numbers will both start with a "1".

Only Mother Nature knows for sure. (And she's not telling!)

So I'm going to try and get out and enjoy some porch time later this afternoon. Other than that, not much going on. I just need to spend some time getting ready for an interview at Cabela's tomorrow and make mom call the doctor. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So I'm going to try and get out and enjoy some porch time later this afternoon. Other than that, not much going on. Good Monday morning everyone.

It has been crazy busy these last few weeks and it continues this week. Well, for part of the week, anyway.

I have a conference I'm helping with in another town so I'll have to stay overnight one evening. But I'm off Friday, and that day we are headed to the mountains in southwestern Oklahoma and I can't wait! The kids are excited, too.

... today, I have got to get to work around here. I have several cleaning projects that I have to get done. I will also need to cook dinner this afternoon. Thinking about making chicken on the grill with rice and black beans, a mango salsa, perhaps some corn on the cob and sliced tomatoes... and I HAVE to get some things listed on ebay to make some money this week. So I guess I'll see you all this evening sometime. Have a wonderful Monday everyone!
