Christmas Countdown - 2015

I was finally able to do a little "housekeeping" on some of our pictures today, getting them on the computer, and some to my albums here.

I know I shared the news of the shelves some of my Santas go on year round here is what it looks like

Here is the Step Brothers Dale Doback ugly Christmas sweater I won a few months ago.

Good evening,

I was pretty good about staying off my foot today, not too much pain in it tonight.

I was making some baby back ribs for dinner, when a thunderstorm came through and knocked out power. We ended up going out for dinner because it was out too long. I finished up the ribs and now I have them for lunch tomorrow.

I actually work early tomorrow, so some shut-eye is needed.

Thanks again everyone for keeping Molly in your prayers. Please keep them coming. We decided to go ahead with the surgery, I'm bringing her in tomorrow morning. I am an absolute nervous wreck but we want to do all that we can to try and help her. If we do nothing we will end up having to put her down as the respiratory distress gets worse. If the surgery is successful then we'll get more precious time with her. I'll keep you all posted.

Hey gang! Hope all is well. Sitting here watching the NBA Finals while everyone else is sleeping. I have really started to enjoy these unexpected quiet moments.



Doc and I was talking about it getting closer to the 4th of July, then she said we might should start planning some of these new traditions that we want for our family. That gets me all excited.



Warming up here....hit 93 today. More of the same tomorrow. Hope yalls weather is as good!



Friends, I hope everything goes ok for everyone. I know some of us are going through some tough times, but the strength of your loved ones and our little community will get you through....hang tough.

Doc and I was talking about it getting closer to the 4th of July, then she said we might should start planning some of these new traditions that we want for our family. That gets me all excited.



Warming up here....hit 93 today. More of the same tomorrow. Hope yalls weather is as good!

Yea, I echo your sentiments. I also did a quick read through. Thank you all for all of the well wishes, I am doing much better tonight. I'm just really tired from it all though, so I'm not going to stay on. I'm hoping tomorrow is a much better day. I think about you all constantly and hope the best for each one of you. I know I haven't been here very long, but I like to think I've found some very nice friends and wonderful people to chat with.

I'll probably be on in the am tomorrow, until then, have a very merry night... and what about that 199 days marker???? I'm SO excited!!!

yeah this is a great place full of wonderful folks...one day we hope to have a big gathering where we can actually meet each other.

I loved our family traditions as my kids grew up...like they each got to make their own gingerbread house every Christmas...this stuff they now talk about with fond memories and lots of laughing. (it was a big mess in the kitchen because I just gave them the equipment and let them go at it while I took pictures)

staying off a sore foot or ankle is the hardest thing to do, I still have twinges in my ankle but so nice to be able to walk again. Ribs sounds like a great idea for dinner !
