It doesn't start until the week after my vacation which is the third week in July.

Merry Morning all,

Well I never intend to be away from here for so long but it somehow happened! I really hope everyone is doing well. I can imagine all that I have missed!

Things are fine, I'm busy with work and the kids. My mum is also coming to visit next week. She didn't make it over last year so it's been two years since I saw her. To make up for it she will be staying with us for a long time - 2 months !!

This week will be busy getting things ready. Isaac is ready for a bigger bed so we have decided to get them bunk beds as they have been asking.

We had a second winter and temps are only starting to warm up. It's been such a long cold wet winter that I will be honest and say that I am in no rush for next winter. It's depressing to think that come October it will be freezing again - we need some sun and warmth before we can welcome winter again!!!

Hope I can make it back soon. In the mean time prayers and thoughts are with you all!

Good Afternoon, MMC!!!!!! It's hot and humid. I want my snow back!!!! LOL!!!! Well mom started having another episode yesterday because you know, we just can't have a quiet weekend around here. The good thing is, at the ER they said that her brain bleed is getting smaller. So at least it looks like we can cross brain surgery off the list of things to come. They sent her home because it's just a "mild" one and they didn't think they needed to monitor her to see if she was going to get worse. Hopefully she will be able to walk on her own again before wednesday so she can go for her next test. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!

I am with you on the snow!!!

I will continue to keep your mom in my thoughts.

I have been watching the news all night because there has been some serious weather out this way. Two confirmed tornadoes touched down, not near where I live, but one was just down the road a bit from the store. There are reports of lots of damaged/destroyed houses. Right now the storms are located where my brother works and where a lot of family live. It is going to be a long night/morning.

Sitting here visiting MMC, listening to some tunes. My wife was watching that show Catfish, one of those great gifts to the world from MTV, she fell asleep. The remote control is with her and I just don't feel like taking the 3 steps to get it. So I am just blocking it out.
Long enough day at work, 3 meetings, yet they complain about not enough work getting done by having another meeting. Hmmmmm, I wonder why nothing gets done when you have 12 people sitting in an office instead of producing.

Tomorrow will be an interesting day, they are predicting some serious weather conditions including severe thunderstorms, and possible tornadoes. We will be trying to keep the boys away from the TV and radio, they will freak out if they hear "possible tornadoes." Even though they were quite young in 2011 when the tornado came through town, they both remember it quite well, along with a lot of other kids in town. It may be a stressful day if any of these things look like they may happen.

JP's team won their first playoff game tonight, 11-0, onto the next round. They looked absolutely unbeatable tonight, where has this team been all season. Their next game is Wednesday, and I have to work Wednesday night, of course. This new schedule can't get here fast enough.

Day off tomorrow, some yard work will probably be in order. Yay...

I must head to bed for some sleep.

Good Morning, friends~

Keeping you all in my prayers, especially during all of the severe weather again lately.

We had some strong storms yesterday morning, very high winds, heavy rain and hail. I did notice that two of the weather apps that I have listed possible tornadoes. I had never seen that before.
The only real damage here were lots of tree branches down, thank God.

now that all those storms are past it is a hot and muggy morning, already have 28c (82f) with the humidity and it is only 6:30 in the am.

Working today then taking daughter out for driving lessons this evening.
