Good Morning, MMC!!!! Welcome to July and Happy Hump Day!!!!! It's going to be an okay day here with a high of 82 and a chance of some scattered storms. We are going to be busy here. Mom has her follow up at the Neurosurgeon this afternoon but first she has to have another ct scan done at the hospital up there. Add in the hour there and the hour back and there goes the day. I wonder if I can get them to turn on QVC in the waiting rooms. Hmm.... I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Keeping Holiday and Gracie in my prayers as well.

Right now, QVC is showing flags that blink and play Christmas music...they turned on three of them at once at different times, and it sounded like total chaos! AND tried to talk over it! Hilarious!!

It's my last day of work before vacation, and I need it! I started a new job this month and three of our friends moved away, and our best friend is talking about moving away if he gets a job in Colorado by September. So much change.

It'll be good to get to the River!! I hope you all have a happy Wednesday, and HAPPY CHRISTMAS IN JULY TO EACH OF YOU! :wiggy:

Today? Well, perhaps an elevated chance of rain, but all in all, not bad.
This center-of-the-week morning has dawned at 71 degrees here in central North Carolina.


OK, Guys. First 'Pines open house of the new month and last open house before the Fourth of July.
And you long-time visitors to the Shispering Pines know what that means.
Red, white and blue frosted fired twinkies.
Patriotic music. (Carl is a big fan of Sousa.)
Carl dressed as Uncle Sam, complete with white whiskers. (And you haven't lived until you have seen a camel with white whiskers.)
And pyrotechnics. Oh, the pyrotechnics! You can't miss them. (Just be sure they miss you!)
