Good morning everyone, Happy Thursday!
I'm fighting a headache this morning so I'm moving really slow. Thankfully there isn't too much going on. I'm just working on some chores around the house. I do have a few errands to run at some point, if I feel up to it. It is a beautiful morning, low humidity with temperatures in the 60's right now. It's going to warm up in to the upper 70's. I hope everyone is well. Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers!

Thank you Holiday. I sent an email back to the animal hospital requesting the contact information of the arbitrator. I'm not expecting the outcome to be in our favor, especially when the third party is not hearing our side of the story. We are not going to walk away from this that easily.

Good Thursday morning, my Christmas friends!

I was cutting grass in the rain yesterday, but a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do. I actually kind of enjoy getting rained on, I always have and I don't know why. LOL Nancy knows it and just rolled her eyes at me while I "braved" the wet weather.

Then I had to make another of our daily trips to the neighboring town for Elizabeth's play practice. They're doing "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" this summer. It should be great!

[Holiday]

Happy Hump Day! Not up to much today. I started physical therapy for my knee last week due to some pain I was having going up and down the stairs. They think it is a tilted knee cap but even with a few sessions it feels better. I have another appt. this morning.

Happy Pines Day, MMC!!!! It's going to be a beautiful day here with a high of 80 degree's. This weekend though, they are talking about high's of 95 and 96 with heat index's well into the 100's. Umm, no thanks!!!!! I think I'll hitch hike to alaska!!! More doctor's visit's today for mom. Which I'm sure will lead to more tests and more doctor's visit's because that's just how thing's go. Hopefully I will be able to catch some of HSN's CIJ this evening though. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!! See you at the Pines!!!!

If we didn't have tornadoes here last night, we missed a good opportunity! Trees down all over, houses & barns damaged, steeple blown off a church, signs torn down, power outages.

Our neighbors tree fell across the road & onto our driveway, pulling down the power lines in the process. We lost power around 5:30 last night & it came back on at 1:30 this morning. There are thousands still without power. Driving from work to my parent's house to pick up DD was an adventure. I was on the interstate, with rain coming down so hard you just had to follow the taillights in front of you and drive about 55 mph, instead of 70. DH said the storm chased him home & he got there just in time to get his truck into the garage.

What a weather year we've had: Ice storms in February had our power off for days, rain throughout the spring, now high winds/tornadoes. Good-ness.

I'm just happy & blessed today that we're all safe & able to go on our merry way.

Good Wednesday morning, my Christmas friends!

I had a great birthday! The kids called me at work and sang "Happy Birthday", then we all had dinner at my favorite hibachi restaurant. Not too bad!

There are lots of reports about weather, and we've have some, too. yesterday morning, the weather alert siren in the plant went off. Outside, the rain was coming down in sheets, and the wind was howling. Me and the other guy here in this office trailer ran to the main office building in the rain AND HAIL. After a couple minutes, it passed over and it mostly cleared up. Harrowing! LOL

I'm keeping a close watch on Walmart.com and Amazon.com. They are having some really good sales today for Christmas in July!

My neighbor said Amazon was having great sales yesterday!

Hey guys! Sorry it's so late! We had a very long day! The specialist never did do an ultrasound on Gracie but they ended up putting her out and running a scope down her and taking a biopsy… She (vet) has a feeling that my girl has both PLN & PLE which is really not cool! She could not see anything out of the ordinary looking down the scope from her naked eye which is good but we will have to wait for the biopsy to come back next week to know what is going on! Gracie is crazy as always but she is snoring beside me on the couch at the moment! Extra prayers please! [emoji120]

Moving right along now into the final third of our Season count and rapidly forward to the 100-day Season window, now just 20 days ahead.

Less than three weeks!



Today's numbers:

Days to the Season: 120

Days to Christmas Day: 162



It just doesn't seem possible we can be so close to a double-digit count at this point.

But then consider. The Blossoms thread will be launching in less than 2 1/2 months.

(Now the year REALLY seems to be moving quickly!)





Yesterday was OK. A bit warm, a bit humid, but really not bad for this time of the year. Possible rain later this week.

Currently, we are at 74 degrees here in the capital city.

Nancy let me roam free in Hobby Lobby yesterday. Of course, she knew where to find me. They now have several aisles of Fall & Christmas, and Christmas trees in the foyer. I was in Heaven!

Man, I'm bummed! I threw my back out somehow today, I don't know what happened one minute fine, the next, click and owwwwww!!! I took 1600 mg of ibuprofen, one hydrocodone and I got a heating pad on it...and I can still feel it. Not-a-clue what I did! I don't like being sidelined.

Well, maybe some ice cream might make it feel better since I'm already in the lazyboy!:-D

I'm at the vet with this sweet girl. She was roaming the neighborhood and my wife found her. It's hot out and she was so thirsty! I'm waiting to see if she's microchipped. She's a sweetheart!
