I almost forgot...

I was looking through reddit/r/christmas yesterday and I found something that might interest a few people here. A redditor inherited a massive Christmas village from their aunt, who past away in Chicago. The redditor lives in Oregon and cannot bring it back to their home. I know there are a few mid-westerners in here that might be interested in acquiring the village, so I figured I would just leave this link and maybe you could contact the person?!

Good Morning MMC !!
Busy, Busy yesterday, but finally got the chance to get back on here again. Have to do some exploring and check out this new look here.
Very very hot here yesterday and again today with temps expected to reach 40c (104f) with the humidity. Heat alert on with cooling centers open all over the place. So grateful we have AC
here is the wedding cake (not a very good picture but all I have right now)

and the birthday cake (in a cooler because they had the party in the park)

Thanks, Crown! Great to be back... I may have some more Blossoms-like photos to post shortly. I visited Tinseltown - Ottawa's Christmas Emporium - last Sunday and they had a bunch of new things. It was very exciting!!! Hopefully I will find some time to post them later!

Ok this forum upgrade is a big change for me. It's going to take some time to get use to. I don't even know how to post a picture now, it was so easy with Tapatalk. I'll see if I can figure it all out when I have more time later. I'm having my brother and his family over for dinner and I have lots to do. I'll be back at some point. I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!

Maybe we should start a "tips" thread with instructions. I see an "insert picture" button, and when you click that, it asks for a URL. But as for how to do it on a tablet or phone, I haven't gotten that far yet. We'll all learn together, because this is what keeps us together!

Someone should call in and tell them that all these lasers will blind Santa and prevent him from landing at their houses! If they want presents, STOP WITH THE LASERS.

Agreed … they're been having trouble lately with commercial airliners being targeted. I heard last week about one whose landing path had to be diverted because someone from the ground was shining a laser into the cockpit and blinding the pilot.
P.S.---It's a federal offense.

Good idea. I wonder which would be best... I'd consider posting in the "Decorations" or "For Sale" forums, but those aren't really visited a whole lot. I'd like to post it somewhere visible but not entirely out of place.
