Just had a small celebration....got Bambina to sleep and it was before 9:00. Hasn't happened in two weeks.

Well, it did rain here for four days straight and it was low 80's this afternoon. Took the girl swimming and she couldn't keep her head up by 7:30. Her Momma and I have been watching a couple of movies and just hanging out....ah, the good times. Now, we are about to go to bed and enjoy the early night.

I'm getting old, I swear.

Tomorrow morning....coffee, the deck, and 50 hours of tracking Santa. Can't wait!

Hi everyone! It has been ages since I've posted. I hope you are all well and life is treating you good! I now have 4 grandchildren and I couldn't be happier! I am gearing up for Christmas 2015! Well...I've actually been gearing up for it since January...hahaha! I started Christmas shopping back in March so I have a good haul right now. I've been listening to Christmas music since...well - I don't think I stopped I love the new look of the site! It's made it even easier for me to post on my cell phone. Great job to those who were involved in setting this up! Wishing you all well and have a happy Christmas in July!

Mom is on her way back to the mountains, so our weekly Friday lunch is out today. I'm glad she has the chance to go as often as she does, but I must admit to a bit of jealousy.

Jacob's band has a gig tonight at Wild Wings Café, so that should be fun!

It's going to be another nice day, sunny with temperatures in the low 80's. No big plans, I'm just working on a menu plan and grocery list for next week. I'm not going food shopping until tomorrow but I'm going to try a new butcher today and get that over with. I have a couple of other errands to run and then I'll be working on some chores around the house. Maybe I'll find some time to hang out by the pool.
My two oldest found out they passed their state board exam so they now have their esthetician license. They're excited.
I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!

Good evening,
School shopping is done! With my wife being a teacher, we will never miss out on school supplies for the kids, she gets so paranoid t we will miss out on something.
We came home I made dinner, my own thing I came up with a number of years ago, I call it chicken scallopini, but it isn't like the recipes I have seen online. It is basically thin cut chicken breast braised/fried in olive oil, no breading. My wife loves it, it is quite tasty, and we served it with spaghetti.
Just relaxing tonight, the kids went to bed early tonight after yesterdays adventure, they were exhausted. We will be heading out to see Pixels tomorrow morning, the kids are thrilled to see that.

Good Morning, MMC!!!!!! Happy CIJ Eve!!!!! WooHoo!!!! It's going to be another warm humid day here with a high near 90. Not a whole lot planned for today. I have a few things to do around the apartment and then I might go walk around the store for a bit. I'm to much of a wimp to walk outside in this heat. LOL!!! I don't know if I should be fearful or not, but our cat Ophelia was just sitting on the floor staring at me. I think she is getting ready to hatch her plan for world domination or something. She is the alpha cat here, and the smartest of the bunch, she must be up to something.
