Wet, windy and Monday yuck, however all the CIJ posts over the weekend have left me felling a bit Christmassy.

Good Morning MMC !

as I said earlier, it is going to be a hot one all week here. Right now it is not to bad out so the windows and doors are open letting the morning coolness in. Picked a hand full of tomatoes from my garden. Glad we still have a month of summer, since we really have not had many hot days yet. The farmers can really use this heat.
I am feeling much better this morning, took something to make me sleep and that made all the difference.
Started the bread, sourdough is a whole day project but so worth it when done.
I have some things to finish up for my TOPS meeting tonight and waiting to hear if another meeting is on for this afternoon or not.
For now I am just going to relax with a cup of tea and watch BT

just heard on the news that this week is going to be not just hot,, but supposed to be the hottest on record...so glad I have AC !

Good morning everyone!
Looks like it will be a rainy Monday here as well. It's dry out there right now but they're calling for isolated thunderstorms with a high of 82 degrees.
I'm heading to the Cheesecake Factory for lunch with my family to celebrate my birthday. My parents are coming later this evening for dinner and cake. Should be a fun day!

We went and saw Pixels today, we all enjoyed it quite a bit. I am not a big fan of Adam Sandler, but this one was good. We also did some back to school clothes shopping for my two demon....uh I mean boys.
Only 2 more days left of this glorious vacation, and then I have jury duty on Monday, I would rather go to work.
We have a surprise party to head to tomorrow morning, lots of yummy food is on the schedule.

Andre had his appt and he is a whopping 86lbs but he is in great health and was giving the vet and the vet tech his sloppy kisses. He was also very intrigued by a pair of kittens. Speaking of cats, while we were waiting to be called in a woman was next to me with a 24 lb cat. He was a big boy!
