I think I will probably end up spending the (whopping) 99 cents to purchase it! LOL!!! I sent a Kindle sample to myself, which is the 1st three chapters. It seems like it will be really good.

I think I read the first chapter ... I got derailed by re-discovering a book I forgot I had---I'm re-reading that right now.
"The Bishop's Wife" was published in 1928, so the language is a bit stiffer and more florid than modern readers are used to. But I'm used to that! Two or three of my favorite books were published around 1910!

I totally agree with you there and knowing everyone else is watching them, I think that makes it really special too!
