I don't know if it's beautiful, but it's certainly whimsical!
It matches the "peppermints" afghan I made earlier in the year.

LOVE that afghan! I have the pattern but I'm not as brave as you to try it!! Lol! Gorgeous!

Tuesday hello, and thinking of everyone this morning, as usual.

We're in for our first heat wave of the season---90F and up into the weekend. (I know those of you who have already been struggling with the heat are thinking, "Poor baby!")

It will be EASY to stay cool in the office. I will have to go outside for a few minutes this afternoon to get the chill out of my bones! Summer at my desk requires a sweater and a space heater to keep the shivers away.

Totally understand that! I have my jacket on now!

I just realized I never said good morning to you all! I got busy there for awhile, but now there's not much going on around here at work. It was such a gorgeous morning - I have the convertible...I just wanted to drive right on past work & keep cruising! It's an awesome convertible morning! Will be tough to come back after lunch again too. Lol!

However, I also don't like when it's still light out at 9:00 in the summer, either. Hard to go to sleep when it's like that!
How about a happy medium?!

Check out the instructional video on YouTube. They really do walk you through every step of the pattern! It's a lot easier than it looks. You can do it! And you'll be very proud of it!


It's a l-o-n-g video, but I just took it a step at a time, jotted down the time at which I stopped, and returned to it for the next step.
If you're left-handed, they have a separate video for those instructions.

That's what my brother says in Cape cod ~ that's one reason he always advises us to NOT visit in the winter. Lol I can't imagine! 5:30 is bad enough!

The sewing IS a pain on this one. A few times I got pieces out of order and had to carefully pick them out.
The pillow, on the other hand, has no sewing at all! Learn the swirly technique from the video, and just make the pillow!
