Christmas Countdown - 2015

Good Wednesday (Pines Day!) morning, my Christmas friends!

After two days of customer care, I'm glad to back to my old routine. We spent the whole morning yesterday in the plant, and although I could work all day in the heat in my youth, not so much these days. Thank goodness for my desk!!

My mom called last night to say she's staying in the mountain a little longer. I don't blamer her! I would if I could, too!!

Elizabeth's summer play is this weekend, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. She's been rehearsing every day now, so I haven't seen much of my family. I'm feeling a little out-of-touch. The show should be great, though!

Happy Pines, MMC!!! It's going to be a hot one here with a heat index near 110 later today. It already feels like it's in the 90's out there. We may see some storms this afternoon too. Needless to say, I don't have much planned for today. Just trying to stay cool. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!

Good evening.

I was off by a half an hour, I did a 13.5 hour shift today. I walked into a disaster, took most of the day to get it under control, then inventory. Needless to say. I am exhausted and will get caught up tomorrow.

One of the plusses of having a new baby is getting a chance to see all the cute holiday stuff for kids. Just picked out some Halloween PJs for him. Poor kid already has 10 ornaments of his own and he's about to turn 1

Sounds like he is off to a great start!!! Having a new baby around always makes the holidays that much more special.

Just get a big tree (or get him a tree of his own for his ornaments!) and enjoy!
I'm not a parent, but I've always heard that the childhood years go too, too fast. So make the most of them!

Good morning MMC! The whirlwind week continues. I looked outside my window this morning and it's pouring down rain! I'm just trying to keep my head above water with work this week, but that's okay because I enjoy what I do. Just busy, plain and simple! After this weekend though, things get considerably less busy!! August is always a time of hitting the brakes on summer and starting to get ready for the rhythm of fall...SO can't believe it's almost August and then we'll be in the -ber months!! That happy thought will get me through this week--I think I can, I think I can!
