Good evening,

Just a long, very long day today. My employee never showed up for his shift this morning, no call, nothing. We are worried because it is not like him, and we couldn't get in touch with him at all either. I was by myself until 1pm, at least it wasn't busy so I was able to maintain everything without any problem.
My wife made her homemade fried chicken, so that made everything better.
LC is getting better, he is so full of energy since he can't go outside in the sun while on the antibiotics. Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers.
I am need of some good zzzzz's tonight, soooo...

Good Morning Christmas folks!
Have a great Sunday!
The last month before the BER months! And it s a great month!
My grandmother will celebrate her 85th birthday!
Before that will travel up to Düsseldorf to visit Jones sister...he is blessed to have two siblings to live in Germany as well! They r from Cameroon!
Then by the end of the month out yearly 9 day fair takes place, The Backfischfest! With rides, foods and drinks, a big parade ( Kandice will take part this year!!!) and a big fireworks on the last day...so a lot to look forward too!!!

And another reason to feel invigorated is our weather.
With the humidity and temperature down somewhat, it's actually almost pleasant outside!
Today has commenced at 71 degrees here in central NC.

How can a Monday be good? Is there even such a thing as a "Good" Monday?!

Yes! Because this week, we've got a Milestone Day! And it's on the same day as a Pines Open House! And...it's only two days away!

Here are the numbers, provided to us courtesy of Crown84, who is hopefully heading away to his vacation!

Days to Christmas Day: 144

It's August as well, which my mom says is the first of the "longer named" months, which means fall is fast approaching! Back to school things are in the stores, teachers report back to school here today for many districts, and on my way back home driving through West Virginia yesterday I saw patches of yellow and red leaves! Won't be long now.

Today's weather doesn't quite feel like fall, though...94 degrees the next three days, and muggy, before a break in the heat mid-week.
