I can't wait for the cold air.For all of my Christmas friends who are longing for fall ~ while sitting on Moms deck after the sun went down last night, us girls all had to grab jackets or blankets...
A bubble bath for men is swimming in a pool after eating too much chili.I hear it's good stuff. Uh...but I've actually never used Calgon as bubble bath. Real men don't take bubble baths.

A long day off here, we spent the day cleaning out LC's room, the child is a pack rat. He saves everything, we had 4 bags of paper trash, he goes into the recycle bins and builds things out of the boxes, milk bottles, etc... We encourage his artistic whims but wow, we need to really get him to throw things away when he is done instead of saving everything.
I am up way too late again, I should get some sleep.

Greetings Christmas Wackos! 99 days to the start of our official merriment in this thread!!! Wow!
Just like visiting relatives at Christmas when I was growing up, each festive homemaker had their own ideas of how things should look and feel, but the overall warmth and merriment were present everywhere we went. It's been like that in the countdown over the years and in the memories and plans we share all around this merry site. I love sharing this merry hang-out with others who don't consider my passion for Christmas to be odd at all. In fact, I think I might be a bit tame in comparison to several merry chums.
Spread your merry wings now and then and travel around the different sections of the site and YULE discover how many other things we share in common or a Christmas factoid you didn't know or a new decorating tip or a festive music link, etc.

Fall is just around the corner, and we're falling today too--into the DOUBLE DIGIT portion of our countdown to the season!
Welcome to a new chapter in our countdown. Yesterday was an AWESOME day as we celebrated 100 days until the start of the Christmas season...and today's another "milestone" as well--we're now OFFICIALLY (thanks to Crown84) in the DOUBLE DIGIT part of our countdown! Wish Crown84 was here to help us celebrate it as the Officially Counter for our lovely group, but glad he's getting some good vacation time!
So, the numbers for the season stand as follows:
Days to the Season: 99
Days to Christmas Day: 141
Other reasons to be happy today include the fact that it's Thursday (Friday Eve, right snowflake22?) and the fact that temperatures here ALL next week will not hit 90!!! Our countdown may be in the 90s now but thank God our temperatures aren't for the time being in the mid-Atlantic!! Hope yours aren't, either!!
Let's find ways to celebrate our double-digit milestone today together!
