Good Morning MMC !

it is only 10c (53f) a little chilly.
Off to work today then 2 days off in which I will be baking and decorating.

Hope you all have a fantastic day !!
great job on the countdown DoYouHearWhatIHear ! thanks

Good morning, CS!
Have a great day!

You would have had to sit like that here last night just to keep the bugs off of you!!!!!

Bugs are terrible this year after all that rain....

Glad to hear that Gracie was okay at lunch!!!! Enjoy your steaks tonight and I hope Jim has a fun fishing trip!!!

Thanks made! Steaks were great, as was the corn on the cob! Jim took off about 30 minutes ago for his fishing trip! Gracie was giving him the cold shoulder. LOL!

That's right!!!! You have to know what's going on so you can tell when something is out of the ordinary and you need to call the cops!!!!!
HA!

Yep!!!! I mean, I may call the cops on the half dressed guy sneaking out the back door of my neighbor's apartment with his duffel bag in hand when her boyfriend shows up unexpectedly if I didn't know what was going on. LOL!!!!!!!

Oh brother! :p Maybe the nursing home peeps weren't so bad after all!! :D

Thanks!!!! Now if this stupid sinus headache would just go away so I could enjoy it!!!! LOL!!!!

xx

Hope you are feeling better today! xx

Dude.

It's so busy around here, I'm going to go crazy.

And some guy with GEMA (Georgia Emergency Management Agency) is running me bananas for some paperwork that doesn't even affect Bellville. I need some Calgon!

I hope y'all have a great day!:)

I hope today is a better day!!

Thank you Brad! :D I am very surprised at this bubble bath malarkey. Calgon has been around for years and no bubblebath here! They just seem to like washing machines here, lol.
Right I'm off for a bit. Going to watch Christmas with the Kranks again to get my daily Christmas fix. Ordered some new Christmas DVDs so shall eagerly await them coming too. See you all soon! :)

Too funny!
Hope you enjoyed Christmas With The Kranks! Great movie! (but I really love the book!)

Glad to hear you guys had such a great evening! Praying for Gracie and you as well! I hope she's feeling better tonight, poor baby.

Thank you sugar! She seems fine now! Praying that continues. Crazy girl! She likes to keep me on my toes!

Greetings Christmas Wackos! 99 days to the start of our official merriment in this thread!!! Wow!
SpiritOfChristmasTree.gif

Just like visiting relatives at Christmas when I was growing up, each festive homemaker had their own ideas of how things should look and feel, but the overall warmth and merriment were present everywhere we went. It's been like that in the countdown over the years and in the memories and plans we share all around this merry site. I love sharing this merry hang-out with others who don't consider my passion for Christmas to be odd at all. In fact, I think I might be a bit tame in comparison to several merry chums.

Spread your merry wings now and then and travel around the different sections of the site and YULE discover how many other things we share in common or a Christmas factoid you didn't know or a new decorating tip or a festive music link, etc.

Stay jolly y'all!

Good morning AuntieMistletoeDear!
Can't believe we're in to double digits, it's so exciting!
I hope you have a great day!

Good morning everyone!

Still dealing with muscle aches from that crazy workout the other night but still manage to get up every am and go speed walking. I just hope I'll be back to my normal self by Monday, I can't start a long awaited vacation with my kids in pain. Any hoo...last evening my dog Buttercup was attacked by another dog as my kids and I were taking her for her evening walk. We had her leashed of course and this dog was purposely let out by the home owners 7yr old son, while they were sitting on their front porch. The screams that came from me while trying to protect my dog (who btw is a Pit Bull and reminded mummy she needs no protecting) were heard by my next door neighbor who came running to assist my kids and I. London was holding onto Buttercups leash while I had her collar with one hand while trying to pry them apart with my other but all the while not looking down to see what was going on. Finally, the owners of the dog Amber came to try to get the two of them apart and finally were able to. I was so upset I didn't want to look to see if Buttercup was hurt cuz if so I would have lost it. Well, come to find out it was the dog who attacked her who was in need of rescuing as I was told later by my neighbor who came running that Cup had Amber by the throat and was locked on her. My hand was bleeding as I had been cut trying to pry their mouths apart. Oh it was a mess. My neighbor and one of the owners of Amber walked us all home. Once we got back inside Buttercup who wasn't phased in the least was looking in her food dish for more dinner as if she had worked up an appetite. And she stuck to me like glue for the rest of the night.

My walking buddy thinks that I should file a report with animal control since this was apparently not Amber's first time attacking another dog on our street. She's attacked my neighbor's dog Hershey three times, each time while Hershey was on her own property. I may just look into it since this dog is proving herself to be very aggressive. Most would think it would be my dog who is the more aggressive one but she walks by other dogs while being walked and gets excited but nothing over the top. She never even pay Hershey no mind (I think she senses Hersh is getting along in years and feels bad for her).

I'm soooo ready for vacation!

Good morning MMCers!

Fall is just around the corner, and we're falling today too--into the DOUBLE DIGIT portion of our countdown to the season!:locotree

Welcome to a new chapter in our countdown. Yesterday was an AWESOME day as we celebrated 100 days until the start of the Christmas season...and today's another "milestone" as well--we're now OFFICIALLY (thanks to Crown84) in the DOUBLE DIGIT part of our countdown! Wish Crown84 was here to help us celebrate it as the Officially Counter for our lovely group, but glad he's getting some good vacation time! :)

So, the numbers for the season stand as follows:
Days to the Season: 99
Days to Christmas Day: 141

Other reasons to be happy today include the fact that it's Thursday (Friday Eve, right snowflake22?) and the fact that temperatures here ALL next week will not hit 90!!! Our countdown may be in the 90s now but thank God our temperatures aren't for the time being in the mid-Atlantic!! Hope yours aren't, either!!

Let's find ways to celebrate our double-digit milestone today together!

Thank you so much DoYouHearWhatIHear! :lightman

Good Morning, friend~
I am so sorry you guys had to go through this!
It is frightening!!!
Glad to hear that Buttercup is ok physically. Keeping you all in my prayers!
I have no idea why people just don't follow animal ordinances and leash their dogs. So irresponsible!
Their pet could hurt others, or hurt themselves.
I'd definitely file a report, and get that put on record.
God bless & (((Hugs)))

Hope you feel better!

Hi Snowflake. :) I did enjoy the movie thanks. I think cat liked it too. Well she stayed with me to watch it. :D The DVDs I ordered are Surviving Christmas, Thomas Kinkade Presents The Christmas Lodge, and A Christmas Wish.

Excellent choices! I hope you enjoy them!!
