Good morning, AMD! 99 looks so good and so exciting! I love sharing my excitement with you all as well and I'm so glad you're here with us! Hope you have a wonderful day!

Thank you, Sugar; I enjoy it here; sometimes life gets in the way and I have to take a break, but I'm always thinking about Christmas the people I have come to know who love it as much or more than I do.

You're right and it does for me too. We all understand when life gets hectic. Always enjoy seeing your smiling face when you come back! :)

Welcome! Thanks for asking - it's next Friday, which works out well actually, because I'll have the weekend off with her and I can watch her more closely. She sometimes likes to be petted really deeply and when I was doing that with her last night, I was checking one of spots last night she's had for a while, it seemed to really be bothering her too - it's on the opposite side of her abdomen. I told DH whenever he takes her up there that morning (I'll still be at work), he needs to make sure the vet checks her really well, to make sure there are no more that he thinks he needs to remove, while he has her under.

I always hated seeing my pets in discomfort, when I think of all the money my parents spent on the old family dog, I realize how much she was an important part of our family. I feel that way about my feral cat and thankfully he's only given us one or two scares in his 10+ years of life.

It is very difficult.
They love you with such loyal hearts.
Hugs to O'Malley.

Good early evening, everyone!

I could not miss this one... Double digits on the count? We've reached it! Thanks to DoYouHear for leading us into 99 Days to the Christmas Season! Wow. The weather here feels like we're even closer than 99 days, too. We're in the mid to low 20s (70s) in Ottawa with a nice breeze. The forecast doesn't call for much above 30c/85f in the near future. We're not even a week into August. I hope that the summer weather hasn't past us by already!

Kim and I are meeting her sister's family (husband and nephews) for dinner tonight. It's hear brother-in-law's (brother's-in-law) birthday today. They are in town for a football camp. It should be a good time.

Well, there isn't a whole lot happening here. I guess I should start getting ready soon. I'm quite hungry! Hopefully I can hold off for an hour.

Have a great double digit to the Season Thursday, everyone!

I totally agree with you. There's no amount of money I won't spend on Ella or in the future on one of my dogs. I love her, just like a child. I just don't ever want to see her suffer.

Good evening, Brent! Enjoy dinner and Happy Birthday to Kim's BIL!

The count is looking great!!
Enjoy your dinner celebrations with Kim & her family!
Happy Friday Eve! :)

Thank you! It was nice! The evenings have been so nice outside this week!
I had never heard of diapers & dinners either. I had to read the invitation twice. LOL! My sisters said the same thing!
I'm sure Jim will have a good time. They are fishing tomorrow & again on Saturday & they are staying at a casino resort. $$
I'm looking forward to a weekend with my girl. And I found out last weekend that it's "Girls weekend" at the lake too. Several of the other husbands are not coming up either. Should be fun! :)
You have an awesome day too!

I have had a blast baby shopping lately. There have been five lucky mamas since February, but most in the late Spring and Summer. I'll check and see if my photos turned out of the cool diaper-cycle that a friend made for a shower; it was adorable and put together with rolled up diapers, wash cloths and a baby bottle and the cute teddy bear riding the motorcycle was wearing baby clothes.
Nearly every shower the invitation mentioned draw prize possibilities for people who brought diapers and no wonder; geesh those things are expensive. I think I'd resort to cloth diapers; you could almost put a child through College by the time they're out of disposable diapers. HaHa.

Yes, they do! <3 I don't trust anyone that Har doesn't seem to like ;)

My old dog, Ragmop (named after the song) was a mixed breed, but the terrier came out of her whenever she was nervous around someone. It would alert me to possible danger or simply someone who wasn't fond of dogs because I trusted her instincts because it was usually the friendly spaniel or poodle that met people with a gentle heart. I'm glad she wasn't with me at playground when my cat encountered the German Shepherd, not sure she would have handled that well. I remember feeling guilty because the cat had followed me up there. Hoping to move out to the country in a few years so we can have a few dogs.

O'Malley says, "Merawl" which means "thanks for the Friday Eve hugs".

I hope you are able to enjoy lunch under the tree. Sounds like a nice break from the stress of the day. Fingers crossed for you! xx
Thank you! I DID get my li'l picnic lunch. And it was lovely! I really hated putting my shoes back on and going back inside. The afternoon was pretty crazy. Next week looks like it's going to be even crazier. The two-day annual offsite meeting was scheduled for next week, but so many people were too busy to go that it has to be rescheduled. That's the first time that has even happened at our agency. But lots of business is a GOOD thing. Agencies that lose clients have layoffs ...

Ragmop sounds very sweet, protective & wise ❤️
