It is right near North Conway, which is a beautiful Rockwellian New England village. We were up that way back in December 2008 for the Polar Express Journey to the North Pole event. Not a lot going on here, typical day of errands and chores. My youngest said her phone charger isn't working so I'm going to run to the store to buy her one since she's working a long shift today. I've never had a phone charger stop working on me, This isn't the first one I've bought for my girls, I don't know what they do to them.
Snowflake inspired me to get some new wax melts for Autumn, I placed an order with Yankee Candle yesterday. I picked up a couple of the new Fall scents including Sugar & Spice, Vanilla Bourbon, and Brandy Pear Tart. Can't wait to get them. I'm really getting excited about Fall, it's still warm during the day but I can feel a difference in the air every morning. I've also seen a few acorns on the ground.

I can't wait for fall scents! Candles seem to be so strong these days-I'm looking into these "simmer pots" you see on Pinterest where you throw in natural ingredients like cranberries and cinnamon and oranges and simmer it to make your home smell like Christmas! I'll keep everyone updated on how it goes!

Good morning, Christmas friends! I can't believe this week, we'll be halfway through August already! WOW! September 1 is really the start of fall for me, but as my mom says, August is the first of the longer named months, meaning we're close. All the colder months have longer names--have you noticed that? You can thank my mom for the tip if you haven't!
Today's a simple day-work, home, working out, and writing a letter to a friend. A good day! Looking forward to it. And it's already Tuesday!!! We're one day a way from the Pines and the halfway point of the week! Let's have a great day!
