Merry Tuesday! Hope you are all having a good day. Pretty rainy and dreary here but we do need the rain. I am on vacay starting tomorrow and do not go back to work until Tuesday!! YAY!! My hubby is off too so hoping we can get in some family beach days. I am going back to the Dr on Friday morning for my knee so we'll see what he says. It is the knee cap that bothers me going up and down the stairs. Maybe an MRI...not sure?

Nice that you have vaca coming up! I hope you get to spend lots of family time at the beach! Hope your doc apt goes well & there is an easy fix! I know you tried PT, but my friends daughter is going for her knee cap - it keeps sliding. She says it's really helping. Good luck!

Thank you. It is restful here today.
I love to crochet, but I run out of places to give away stuff---mostly afghans and hats. But Friends of Boston Homeless really appreciate the hats, so I send them 15 or 20 each November so they have time to distribute them to people who come in for a Thanksgiving meal. Sometimes I throw in a package of socks, a scarf, or some mittens.
The afghans are hard to find homes for. I can donate them to charities by mail, but they're fairly expensive to mail.

So nice that you do that!! Have you looked at Project Linus? I'm not sure how many blankets they need, but I know they have chapters all over.

I went home for lunch, and not long after I got there, there was a big wreck at the intersection in front of Bernie's store. Car vs. 18-wheeler. I don't think anyone was seriously hurt, but one lady had to be take by ambulance. The rear axle was ripped off of the 18-wheeler's trailer and rolled down the road. Whew! Praying for all concerned.

I hope it's something simple that doesn't require an MRI.
I saw the doctor about the same complaint years ago. The doctor told me the kneecap was just a little out of place and would resolve itself. He gave me a couple exercises to help it move in the right direction, and it's been fine ever since. He cautioned me not to twist my knee too much, as in golf and tennis.

Good to know...I am going to ask him about that on Friday.

We're going back later to go through what others didn't want to see if there is anything else we would like to have. I am ready for cooler weather & to change out my closets to the fall/winter wardrobe!
