The perfect day to spend time outside and they are mowing our grass. Darn lawn crew!!! Time to break out the allergy meds.

Hope the meds help and you start feeling better! The past couple of weeks have been so bad for allergies!

Good Wednesday morning, my Christmas friends!

Oh my goodness. Elizabeth has learned to bake bread FROM SCRATCH. She got a sample of "starter" from a cousin. This starter has to be maintained (fed, as she calls it) weekly, and can be from a very old original mixing. She's been working with my mom (who just learned, too), and yesterday she baked three loaves of hot, fresh, steamy sourdough bread. The house smelled wonderful! And she promises to bake bread every week! Yippee!!

Ok, that's the best news I've gotten all week.

Howdy folks! Great day here! Daughter went back to school and it's cool enough to have the windows open! It feels like fall! I love it but I know it's going to get hot again real soon. I can't wait for cool weather. Have a great day everybody!

Pleasant weather is still hanging in there, although punctuated by the occaisonal rain storm, like yesterday's.
We started off at a low-humidity 69 degrees here in central NC with the promise of a clearer day and no precip.

Hey guys!
Just had a great Mummy and Me afternoon tea with Lizzybeth and we're on our way to change out of our fancies and pick up big sis and head back out for some low key fun. Maybe explore the new shops at Downtown Disney.
Its been raining on and off but luckly so far we've managed to be indoors or just missing it. Instead of cooling things off the rain just makes you feel like you're walking around in a sauna. Can you say vacation ponytail?!!! Lol

I bought a few Halloween and fall items at the DG today. I'll post them in the Halloween section. I was disappointed with their selection so far. I'm hoping they'll be getting more in!
