Good morning all, and Happy Friday Eve! (thanks to snowflake for the reminder!)

Just another day of work. I think a friend is going to come over tonight and we're going to run about a mile to see how she does. Then, we're going to watch football, because my football team (Washington) is playing Cleveland tonight in their first preseason game, and I'm excited about it! This is a surefire sign to me that fall is riiiiiiight around the corner! Helps me put up with this heat...we're creeping back up into the 90s by the end of this week, but hopefully this is one of the last times! I'm ready for some fall weather! Have a great day!

Well, it was quite nice here yesterday. Lower temps, reduced humidity, no rain and only gentle breezes.
About as good as it gets here in the South in August!

She came upstairs with me and just slept wherever I went. So it's kind of hard to say, but she's not longer shaking and she did eat a little bit for me. So I'm taking those as good signs. Thank you for asking.

Hi ya Sugar! How have you been, long time no talkie.... I do believe that everyone here is doing well, as far as I can tell that is. I have been on a constant "hyper work mode" at either the office or at home for the past 3 months or so. Been renovating the basement so that it can be like a studio apartment for my grandfather; which he will be moving in with us on September 28th. PLus I have gutted and renovated (2) bathrooms and renovated the kids bedrooms. Now I am also working outside the house, clearing brush, trees, stickers, poisonous plants, etc...from the property. Doing this to push the growth back because of the deer, deer ticks, etc...! Trying to get it back as far from the house as possible; clearing about an acre and a half. So busy, busy, busy! Hope all is well with you and your family~

Good to see you too! All is pretty well here. Ella has to have surgery in the morning, to have some tumors removed. The vet is concerned with them, since they're really starting to cause her pain and he wants to make sure they're not cancer.

Other than that, I've been working a lot myself; trying to get things ready here for the kids to go back to school at the end of the month!

Good Morning, MMC!!!! It's going to be a little bit warmer today with a high of 82 degree's. Right now it's a beautiful 61 out there though. I love it. More errands to run today. I need to work on a grocery list real quick and then head there since I'm out of milk, bread, and down to my last 2 eggs. I also need to run to target too to pick up mom's meds. I wish I could get them so that they were all up at the same time but it seems like twice a month is the best I can do. Then it will be back home to see what kind of trouble I can get myself into. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!

I'm glad to hear the shaking stopped and she ate a little bit. Continued prayers for your baby girl.
Maggie is hanging in there. I couldn't get her to take all of her cough suppressant this morning. I cut the pill in half and put it in to two pill pockets but she only ate one. It's getting more and more difficult. I'll have to talk to the specialist about it tomorrow. She's an incredibly picky eater, I'm running out of ideas.

Prayers for Maggie and you - praying the doctor has some answers for you tomorrow.

It's going to be a beautiful day, sunny with a high of 82 degrees.
My husband and I are going to Jones Beach tonight to see Van Halen. My BIL & SIL are going as well. We'll be tailgating so I need to head out soon to pick up a few things. The weather is perfect today and it's going to be a beautiful night so it should be a lot of fun. I haven't seen Van Halen since the 80's!

Well, guess what my Christmas friends!?!? My hubby got a call from Gracie's specialist this morning & all of Gracie's levels are back to .... NORMAL!!! .... YAY! YIPPEE!! YAHOO!!! #sohappy

She isn't going to change a thing as far as her meds & her special food - at least not for now!!

Great news on Gracie!!! I'm so happy for you guys! Blessed be to God!

*If you do peanut butter, just make sure Xylitol is not in the ingredients. I do JIF, and it's not in there.*

Some companies are going to start using it as a sweetener, and that's what's in gum that makes it toxic to animals.
