Christmas Countdown - 2015

Good Thursday morning, my Christmas friends!

Nancy has been working with the other moms of seniors, planning a senior breakfast in the morning before school. We'll have breakfast, and a prayer from a local pastor. Then we follow them to the school where there are signs long the road with their names and their interests (in Jacob's case, guitars).

I don't remember any of this stuff going on when I was in school, but I went to a different school. Nancy's getting all misty-eyed about "his last first-day of grade school." LOL I still have to feed and clothe him for the following four years of college!

I'm just kidding around...mostly. It is strange to have a HS senior in the house. I clearly remember his first day of K4 at this school, and now he's a little taller than I am. time flies, eh?

I just gave my grandkids some Fruit Cocktail. My granddaughter finished her bowl then asked, "Grandma, can I have some more Fruit Cotton Tail"? Lol! I just love what kids say!

Started the day with blue skies and sun, shortly after arriving to Hollywood Studios the sky became over cast and it began to lightly rain on and off (not bad enough to ruin anything but just enough to cool things off). It's been delightful. London and i rode Rockin Roller Coaster (Lizzy said no to that), we've ridden Toy Story Mainia, The Great Movie Ride, saw the Frozen Parade and the Frozen Sing A Long (I can't take much more Frozen, but it makes Lizzy happy); London wasn't thrilled with the idea of Tower of Terror but since Lizzy won't ride anything remotely scary she rode it with me and we all did Star Tours. Now we're waiting for the live stage show of Beauty and the Beast. We have a early dinner reservation and hopefully we won't be rained out for any of the nighttime entertainment. Last time we were here we didn't see Fantasmic due to the rain. And this year Disney has added fireworks after with the theme of, you guessed it... Frozen and I'll have a very upset little girl if she doesn't see Anna and Elas yet again!!!

It's Friday Eve so i hope you all are getting ready for the weekend and making plans.

Good evening, friends! As most of you know from earlier post, Ella will be having her surgery tomorrow morning. Please continue to keep us in your thoughts and prayers. I'll be a basket case going to work tonight, especially if I'm not able to make it home in time to take her there. I'm trying to stud optimistic, but until I know, it's just hard.

Hope you're all having a great Friday Eve! It's going to be a great weekend and tomorrow is 24 hours of CIA on QVC!
