Thankful it's Friday! I still have a retreat for a board that I'm on tomorrow and I have to work Sunday afternoon for a few hours, but I still will have more time to rest than each day this past week, and I'm thankful for that and looking forward to the weekend!! Thank God it's Friday!!! Hope you all have a great day!

Can the weekend really begin tomorrow?
Can we really be mostly through August?

Can these really be our count numbers?
Days to the Season: 84
Days to Christmas Day: 126

And can we really be down to just FOUR DAYS away from the TWO THIRDS Milestone to Christmas Day?
(A check of our chart confirms it, but it's still hard to believe.)
The year is just flying by!


No rain yesterday. The humidity was not too bad, but it made itself known.
We should have dry weather today (hopefully) through Sunday, at least.
Starting off this day before the weekend, we see 76.4 degrees on our digital back door thermometer.

Just an update on my father-in-law, Ken.
He had an okay day. Still in pain, but not as severe. He had tests done by the neurologist today, hopefully we will get those results soon. They want to keep him for observation, and don't believe they'll be releasing him tomorrow either.
Thank you so much for your prayers, Adrian & I appreciate them so much.

So sorry to hear he is still in pain. Hopefully today will be a better day for him (and for all of you) & you will get some answers! Hugs & prayers!!!

Good evening,

HELP!!!! My wife is watching Teen Mom 2 again, I can't stand this train wreck of a show. But, I would rather be close to her than be in the other room.

Busy day, I got up and mowed the lawn, trimmed the shrubs and bushes, then fixed the washing machine. I finally earned my ice cream cone since we never went the other day.
We went to my in laws for a cookout, using up some of the food that was leftover from the weekends party.
My wife and I have a date day tomorrow, sister in law is taking the boys so we are trying to figure out where to go.
