After church yesterday, we went to mama's for lunch. Lasagna!! Mama make the BEST lasagna I've ever had, too! Then she brought out a homemade cheesecake for Jacob's birthday. Woof! I was so full, I could barely walk to the den to kick back in the recliner!
That afternoon, my brother and I went to see a local farmer who agreed to give us a finishing mower deck (6' wide!) for our dad's tractor, in exchange for some engine labor from Jim. I was happy to volunteer Jim's services...LOL. It was heavy, but we loaded it on our trailer and took it back to Jim's shop for some minor repairs. Nice!
Later that afternoon, my sister-in-law planned a screening of Gone With the Wind for friends and family. She has a projector for her computer, so we sent to the nearby warehouse that we use for community gatherings, and ate popcorn and hot dogs while watching the movie.
Overall, it's been a pretty good weekend. I hope to get out and see a movie this afternoon, if Nancy can be torn away from home long enough for it.

Since A Christmas To Remember will not be at the mall until November, I will likely have to fall back on Hallmark. They almost always have Christmas items out in September.

Sounds like such a nice weekend. The food sounds so delicious and I love lasagne ... and cheesecake ! Have fun at the movies later!
